As a former London constable, Nicholas Angel finds it difficult to adapt to his new assignment in the sleepy British village of Sandford. Not only does he miss the excitement of the big city, but he also has a well-meaning oaf for a partner. However, when a series of grisly accidents rocks Sandford, Angel smells something rotten in the idyllic village.

Another awesome, awesome awesome (yep, an extra awesome) turn of events from the team behind Shaun Of The Dead.

It's horror aspect played well throughout the film, paying off in the end and of course making another reference to a well known horror film that has it's own cult following.

I just hooked up my Onkyo 7.1 surround, and after trying a handful of 5.1 HD film mixes, Hot Fuzz was the only feature to completely kick the living shlt out of my set-up and drown me in its design.
