Recommend a horror movie

What horror/gore or horror/torture movie would you recommend?

If I had to be precise, a perfect movie would involve being in danger while trapped somewhere.

The Loved Ones would be a good example of a 9/10 in my opinion.
Last house on the left, The girl next door would also be good examples.

Silent Hill isn't bad

I was expecting Martyrs to be scary and it wasn't.

To say something different from everyone else...

Cabin in the Woods was a pretty good horror-comedy. Also, though hardly horror, Shaun of the Dead was fantastic.
