Picked up Kerry Carpenter for the weekend because I needed to get something happening in my OF. 3 homers in 2 games, that always feels nice. Didn’t even have the torpedo bat icon. Strange.

Who isnt available on waivers anymore is Sean Murphy my new catcher, Kyren Paris (probably streaking) and Jorge Polanco my second basemen. Hoping Polanco is having a resurgence, same with Murphy.


The quiet miracle perhaps developing is Martin Perez. 12.1 ip, 13 Ks, 2.QS, and an ERA and Whip both less than one. Still only owned in 25% of Yahoo leagues because of the track record. Well Marty I have the time and necessary desperation to give you a try. Welcome aboard!

Diaz stumbled out the gate for me last season as well, but I stuck with him and he eventually got going.
