She is very nice indeed, which is some of my stock phrasing, but I feel kind of funny going "OMG! She's a goddess! I love her!" But sometimes that's what I really feel. 😊 I think the furthest I've gone is "I wanna lick her eyeballs!" But rest assured, in spite of my boring turn of phrase, whether I state it or not, I love these women you all post.

I saw her in Alien: Covenant — Ridley Scott likes his statuesque beauties. I loved what he said about Connie Nielsen in the Gladiator commentary: "She can be my empress anytime".

She's nice but I like the other Lord of the Rings lady best ;). In fact I'm currently restraining myself from "doing a Beatle" I like her so much :D.

No, no, no. Please allow me to explain myself. I'll do Uma in a thread I created specifically for her. She is a Taurus, the Taurus. By that I mean I believe the most beutiful women are Taurus. Makes sense bc it's a female sign, a warm sign (born in spring), so they're hot, and an animal sign. The only competition here is Cancer who has all those traits, but the ruler for Taurus is Venus. Nuff said. I'll do other Taurus ladies in another thread. Here, I do non-Taurus, women born under any other sign. Hence the list. She's Aquarius. It seems we'll have to fight for her, since I love her too. LOVE, do you understand? Which makes perfect sense since Leo- Aquarius is the perfect combination. I've withnessed this personally, like here with Movie Meditation. Which sing are you? It's pk if you don't wanna tell. Rules won't. He even made us guess,and we all failed. At least I know he's neither Libra, nor Taurus,nor Virgo. I'd be inclined to guess he's a water sign, or Capricorn, like Steel our resident MoFo astrophobe ;) or

I caught the end of St. Trinians recently and she looked damn good. I was also laughing at Jodie Whittaker dancing about in the background like a maniac – she looked good too :).

That looks brilliant! I saw a bit of it recently and the talking cat and dog impressed me a lot. They really managed to make it look convincing I think, which is something everyone in the advertising industry keeps failing at. Or would that end up looking sinister like in this film… :)?

My best friend is not a horror fan! I begged her to come with me to see this, even though it meant driving to Bolton to see it because it only got a limited released. I thought it was brilliant, she absolutely hated it, and still brings it up now any time she wants to bring my film judgement into question!

Happens a lot around here unfortunately. I have a Cineworld card, so unlimited films for something like Ł17 a month, and made an attempt to try and see all of the big Oscar nominated films before the awards. Several of them (Phantom Thread, Lady Bird, Call Me By Your Name, The Florida Project etc.) never got any kind of wide release here (or were only released after the Oscars in the case of Lady Bird) so meant either streaming, or driving miles to Liverpool or Manchester to arthouse cinemas. The joys of small town living. I havent actually been to the cinema at all in about 2 months because with the recent spate of blockbusters like Avengers, Solo, now Jurassic World, they just have them on endless screenings and only about 2 or 3 other films on.

A coincidence---I just found out that this movie exists a few days ago when I happened upon the trailer on YouTube. I must see it now, especially after your recommendation, Smudge! With Gemma, Ryan Reynolds, and Anna Kendrick, it's a must see, for me at least.

I haven't seen it but it's a surprise that she was in a British film. There are some great people in it – Hattie Jacques and Peter Butterworth particularly stand out. Good Carry On stalwarts.

Also I notice that Maid for Murder is the American title. In the UK it was called She'll Have to Go. That's very us :laugh:.

But she's been on Fear the Walking Dead for four years now, and when she sometimes does the after-show interviews, she sounds almost completely American, except when she gets excited about a subject, then the Australian vocal sound really comes out. By the way, I think she's absolutely beautiful and those pictures don't do her justice at all.I mean, they're good but to see her on TV or in a movie, she's wonderous. :love:

You should, its predominantly aimed at the teen/ young adult crowd, but I think there is a lot there below the surface too, a lot of subtext, history woven into a fictional context etc. I think the third one is poor (only because there was absolutely no need to split the third one into two films other than money, so as such I think the third one drags and feels very drawn out compared to the other three which fly by) but it is a series I would definitely recommend.

I've long wondered if Asians have uniquely shaped irises (the color part of the eye). Some say yes (that they're actually slightly oblong as opposed to circular), while others say it's merely an illusion created by the shape of the outer eye. Anyone know?

I'm leaning toward it being an optical illusion created by the outer shape of the eye... and all humans basically have circular-shaped irises.

But I could swear I've seen Asian girls with oval shaped irises (but today, with all the weird contact lenses and stuff, they can pull off all kinds of effects, so who knows?).

I think the illusion is created by the top & bottom of the iris being covered by the edges of the skin around the eyes - thus contributing to an oval-shaped look to the irises (where, in fact, they are circular)...

This may be far out, but when Saito Asuka smiles, I see a similarity to Ivanka Trump.
It's only in her smile, teeth and lower nose.

God I love her. I dont think Id ever seen her in anything until Black Mirror where I absolutely fell in love with her (and Mackenzie Davies too of course) but since then Ive noticed her in a couple of other things. I think its the eyes that do it.

I love coming back to this thread, never fails to make me smile! Where else on the internet could you have a thread full of pictures of beautiful women, and absolutely no creepiness? I dont feel I contribute much, but do always enjoy looking.

Oh well, Ill contribute now while Im here, since 13 Going on 30 was on TV yesterday and reminded me how much I love Jennifer Garner...

This may be far out, but when Saito Asuka smiles, I see a similarity to Ivanka Trump. When I smile there's a similarity to Brad Pitt. That's why I never smile. I don't want to cheat ladies, because when I stop smiling I'm my own plain, ugly self again. ;)

And Amy Jo Johnson of course! I grew up watching Power Rangers on TV so there was quite the nerdgasm watching that first episode of Felicity, like OMG Felicity goes to college and is best friends with the Pink Ranger!

but looking back, Im pretty sure seeing Jessica Alba in Sin City was the first suggestion that Im into girls.

I always think it was seeing Uma Thurman in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen but there's probably something even earlier than that :).
