Saunch, love those pics of Dorothy Malone and Lauren Bacall. She was indeed very young when she and Bogie fell in love. Can't blame him, really.

Nestorio, I like your "travel-in-time" gallery, especially the one of Ginger Rogers. There's a movie of hers called Bachelor Mother (1939) and she's stunning in that one. Also in Vivacious Lady (1938), where she's not only beautiful but funny. Check them out if you get a chance.

Fabulous, in my opinion, Natalie Wood is one of the best-looking women EVER! I've loved her since I was a kid. I particularly like the last photo you posted of her.

Gideon, Edyta was always one of my faves on DWTS. For some reason, the first pic, although hot, doesn't really look like her in the face to me. Maybe it's because she's looking back over her shoulder or something...I don't know. I used to laugh in the early days of the show because Len Goodman, the head judge, hated that she wore skimpy costumes. Oh brother...that's why I liked her! :)

Gangland, nice pic of Jean Peters! I'd like to go a bit further with your comment and say that "Howard Hughes knew who he was doing." :D

Captain Steel, I watch Match Game (recorded from DVR) every night, and we crack up at Charles Nelson Reilly and Brett Somers sniping at each other all the time. So I can really appreciate you posting that pic of CNR. Also, you are so right about Linda Harrison. She didn't have to say a word in the first two PotA movies, she was so fine. Sorry, Saunch! I didn't mean to not give you credit. I didn't realize I was looking at "quoted pictures." :)

Yeah ed, I saw Cat People twice at the cinema, because seeing Nastassja in all her glory in that movie was worth seeing twice! I really loved the scene where she was wading in the water, with short-shorts, and wading boots. Whoa! That image was etched in my brain for a long time.

And Saunch, loved Peggy Lipton as Norma! She was one of the few "normal" people on Twin Peaks, and by the way, for those who like the show and don't know, it's coming back in May on Showtime I believe, with new episodes. It will run for 18 episodes. The IMDB says that Peggy is listed for ONE episode! What the hey? I loved her and the fact that she made pies that everyone loved. Anyway, I should have picked up the latest Entertainment Weekly today because it's got Peggy, Mädchen Amick, and I think, the guy who played Bobby on the show. But I wasn't focused on him, only the ladies. :) Anyway, I hope the info I gave plays out. I hope they pick up from the "ending" of the series, with Agent Cooper, um, not quite himself.

And FromBeyond, nice pic of Cara Delevingne from her upcoming film. She's kind of an oddball beauty to me, There are times where she looks strange, and other times where's she just a knockout beauty. I haven't seen her in Suicide Squad but I understand she was all funked-up in that film. I did see her in Paper Towns and thought she looked pretty smoking. Here's a few I like:

In movies like Abbot & Costello Meet Frankenstein, Lou would do this exasperated breath thing (I just realized this can't be explained in text!) ;) ...as if he was so scared he couldn't speak.
It was a wheezy sound with lots of lip movement as he tried to call for help. It was almost like "Hominah, Hominah, Hominah" but with less sound. Lou did a bunch of similar things (and may have done "Hominah") when encountering Female Beauty he could Appreciate (thus, bringing it back to topic).

In one of the A&C movies, Abbott was named "Chic" and Costello would slowly do that calling for him, with Chic...chic, then up to Chic...chichichic, oh, chic, then finally Chic! Chic! Chic! BoxOfficePoison, you posted two of my long-time favorites in Mary-Louise and Daphne. Mary-Louise does have a bit of crazy eyes in some pics and movies, but for the most part I find her more carefree and fun in her eyes. However, I did see an episode of Weeds where she was feeling, um, like Beetlejuice said, "a little anxious" and went to a bar, throwing her hormones around until the bartender closed the bar and whipped her bare fanny with a belt and then...well, use your imagination. Anyway, she was hot as all get out in that episode. It's the only one of Weeds I've ever watched and who knew it would be the right one? :) Daphne, I've dug her since I first saw her The Sure Thing and have tried to keep up with her. She is still so nice-looking!

And that is so wrong. PC gone insane. No guy here has made slimey comments that could be misconstrued but one poster earlier said he felt guilty for calling someone pretty. That's just crazy. It's perfectly OK to acknowledge someone is beautiful. I think the kid in The Babadook is beautiful, and a great little actor. Should I be frightened about someone making absurd comments?

Yeah, I know it's hard to think of the Fannings and Chloe Moretz growing up, but I've seen pics of Chloe taken by those magazines like "US" and the like, where she's out shopping or at the studio and she really looks older than I think of her in the movies. She was in the recent Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising where she wore cut-off jeans and a bikini top and she looked quite adult there also.

The Fannings, well, Dakota, when she was in the "Twilight" movies (yes, I watched ALL of them :) ) looked very adult. I don't know if I've seen her in anything since. I've seen pics of Elle from the movie Neon Demon and to me, she still looks young. She's nineteen-years-old, so, depending on how you think, she could be considered a teen, but a lot of people consider eighteen the age you legally become an adult. So, I don't know.

Another young actress whom I think is really looking mature at the young age of twenty-one, is Hailee Steinfeld:

Another reason why I can't seem them as anything other children is that I don't think I've seen any movie featuring Chloë Moretz or Dakota Fanning in like 5 years.

Elle is probably going to be easier to see as an adult after watching Neon Demon, though. (Some of the scenes in that did, however, make me pause since she's still pretty young)

Dani, Cate is awesome. I generally think of sexy and beautiful as two different things and, though this discussion veers towards the former, Cate is absolutely beautiful.

I'm not really familiar with Judy Davis but I always thought she was quite pretty. Seeing her in Feud made wonder if she was a bigger star than I had though to fit alongside Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon.

I hope she works with the Coens again. Her attitude is perfect for their work.

I looked through her movies on IMDB and the only two that I immediately recall seeing are The Ref, where she was fantastic and Absolute Power, co-starring with Clint Eastwood...although I've only seen it once, loved it, but cannot remember what role she played. So, I take back what I said about her looks with all happiness. :)

Sarah Lindsey is very pretty. Reminds me of Yvonne Strahovski, whom I hadn't really paid attention to until recently as well. She showed up in Hulu's The Handmaiden's Tale which is setting her up for difficult role. Looking forward to see how she does.

Stephanie Powers did have that earlier in the movie, when the man next to her (John Wayne's real-life son Patrick) paddles her rump for being a spoiled little...well, you know. He even hands John Wayne the little fireplace shovel for more solid impact through Maureen's rather thick undergarments. You're right, Dani, a scene like that wouldn't fly today, unless the scene ends with the woman grabbing a gun and blowing off her spanker's head. Oh well. The Duke had put up with her crap through the whole movie, so she had it coming. :)

Saunch, Yvonne Strahovski was a woman I hadn't really paid attention to until last year when I finally watched the last two seasons of Dexter. While I, like many fans of that show, was disappointed by the direction it took in the final few episodes, Yvonne Strahovski was dynamite in that show and one of the hottest ladies I've ever seen. I was told by a friend that I needed to watch the show that made her a star, Chuck, but I never did. He said, "you need to watch it, she's so beautiful!" But I didn't listen. My loss. I need to watch the series some day. I looked on IMDB and she's going to be in the upcoming The Predator, directed by Shane Black. I was looking forward to that movie, now I'm REALLY looking forward to it!

I was surprised when I found out Victor McLaglen was from London.He gave a great performance. I knew he was English beforehand from watching the film Gunga Din in which he co-starred with Cary Grant. If you haven't seen it you should check it out, it's a classic adventure movie.

BOP, Julie London was so fine. I mainly remember her from the TV show Emergency! but I knew she was a singer as well. She was one of a rare breed.
If not for the series, I probably never would have heard of her. It's still one of my all-time favorite shows.

Ah, escapist, I see you must like the film Rachel Getting Married as everybody but Jennifer Carpenter are involved with that movie. Was it a good flick? Anyway, they are all beautiful. I've had a thing for Rosemarie DeWitt for about two years now. She is quite the looker, and a good actress! By the way, welcome to the boards!
