Michael Keaton is the other standout performer, and has easily the most layered performance, not just handling Bruce Wayne and Batman, but also tortured Bruce Wayne, public Bruce Wayne, and meltdown Bruce Wayne in Vicki's apartment.

To add to Batman's problems, a new villian rises in the form of the wild Joker, who plans to bring chaos to Gotham, and Batman's alter ego's love interest, Vicki Vale.

Michael Keaton & Jack Nicholson hold great performances in the film and make the rivalry between both characters very convincing.

Synopsis : After seeing this , I would credit Batman Begins : which I hated as being the best live action Batman film.
