Sin Jin Smyth

I searched, and didnt come up with anything on this, hopefully the search feature didnt let me down.
I've been following this since pre-production.

Heres the synopsis-

Every Halloween at Midnight
The devil simultaneously appears in two places
The high plains of India and a quite cemetary in Kansas
It's November 2nd, the day of the dead

Two federal marshalls report to the town of Shin-Bone, Kansas, Moments after a tornado warning, to transport a prisoner
with no past and no identity
He is known only as..
..
Sin-Jin Smyth

Jonathan Davis - Korn frontman plays the devil,
Jenna Jamison and Roddy Piper are also cast.

I'm a huge fan of horror films, Director Ethan Dettenmaier shopped this script around and ultimatley decided, rather than change the script to suite big name companies to get them to back this film, he would do it himself.

The teaser trailer, hopefully will be available tomorrow on the website http://www.snapkickproductions.com/sin-jinsmyth/

There is also a myspace site http://www.myspace.com/sinjinsmythmovie

Im sure some have noticed this in my signature, Ethan Dettenmaier and some cast members will be having a Q & A regarding the film soon on my own forum The_Panic_Attic_&_film_loft - time to be announced as well as e mailed to forum members.

Heres an early review of a rough cut of the film

It took an extra day or two for the web magicians to get everything in order on the new Sin Jin Smyth website. The waiting is over for anyone who has heard of this movie, or awaiting some more info. http://www.sin-jinsmyth.com/ now has a teaser trailer and some character profiles on the site..

Isn't there a pro volleyball player with a similar name?

Maybe that's why it sounded familiar to me...

Ive read the Directors intent- even when there is a full trailer available, is to not do what so many movie studios do with there trailer, give away key plots to the film away before you see the movie.

Sir Sean Connery's love-child
I thought Sin-Jin was Stringfellow Hawke's brother from Airwolf!!!!
They never did find him.
Talking of which, it must be time for a big screen remake of Airwolf.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour?

I've been looking forward to see how this one turns out after I read a couple of interviews with the writer/director Dettenmaier. It seems interesting. I like the fact that they haven't really released too much information about the movie yet. I hate seeing the best parts of movies in the trailers. Thanks for the links!
