Django: Ignore Mass

Tools

The main thing I remember Django -- and something I'll always be grateful -- for, were the accusations of abuse of power and Yoda's dictatorial intolerance of opinions different from his own, which seemed to have a comically earnest and endearingly pathetic tone ("come fellow mofo's, unite against the ogre that is Yoda, chant with me: MoFo for the mofo's!"). Also didn't he introduce himself with this huge explanation of a cluster-**** at another movie forum where he claimed he was wrongfully maligned, trying to set the record straight about something that nobody here knew or cared about.

I've never thought anyone else was Django and always think it a little paranoid when people accuse some new troll of Django sock-puppetry. I can understand said paranoia on the anonymous internet but it has been my experience that you're only feeding their compulsive need for negative attention by giving into it.

I knew it...lines is Uday!!!

One night in January, I was awakened to find that aliens were trying to abduct me, and whaddya know - DJANGO was among them! It seems he was picked up by beings who come from The Pleiades star system after they answered a personal ad that Django posted at Match.com, asking for kinky sci-fi lovers.

Although he was dressed like a stewardess and was wearing a long, curly strawberry blonde wig, I recognized him. He looks pretty happy. I was flattered that he recommended me for an abduction, but nothing happened because I went to bed pretty intoxicated and they wanted healthy blood and sperm samples. So they left...

at least that's what I believe happened...

Didn't you actually call one of the numbers you found while plugging his name into Google, Jason? I think I remember you saying you tried it, but didn't get an answer.

There was some fairly, uh, fairly interesting things attached to his name floating around, if I remember correctly.

I did. I honestly did. I got that "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP" you get when the line is busy. He must have been talkin' to the gay phone sex operators.

I ran across a Blog not too long ago that I assume was his... I thought I booked marked it but can't find it now.... anyway, it had the same picture he used for his avatar here once... and pictures of him with three kids that were supposed to be his... two of which would have had to have been born before he joined here....

Has he attempted to come back?
Or was his IP banned.
I remember this thread. This guy was so annoying haha.

Alot of you guys know this but I too was banned at one point (See SPIDEI2_MAN, which is why some people here still call me spidey..ahem..sedai) and when I came back in secret, I came back as Rasputin which was exactly when "Darkhorse" was around.

After that I changed to this name (Yoda and caitlyn and some others knew instantly) and I to this day suspect django is among us.....in a much less ill tempered kinda way. No one spends that much time and energy and just leaves.

After his ip got banned, I bet he incidentally moved somewhere and took advantage of his new IP and is now mild tempered.

Who do you suppose Django is now?

Will your system be alright, when you dream of home tonight?
JUST because I came around after he was banned and could have moved...

I mean... BLAME WITTS!

I think if he came back today he'd have a different experience. He'd find himself on the curb next to that smelly fly infested trash can in about five minutes post arrival.

That's probably true. I think we were overly forgiving of this sort of thing in the site's earlygoing, and users like Django preyed on that.

It's a fine line, though, because there are lots of great members who crossed the line a few times at first, but were perfectly able to stay within the site's rules thereafter. If the price for giving those sorts of members another chance is putting up with the occasional Django, I'd say it's worth it.

The People's Republic of Clogher
He had one of the best usernames on the site...

Dark Horse was a bit, well, lacking in guile.
