After having just watched Ghost in the Shell 2, I'm going back to 1 now. Liking it more now that I've got a stronger grip on its seriously complex plot. It might be a little too complex, which is always why I considered Akira the better of these two pioneering animated biopunk movies.

Looking very Wicker Man-y.
Odd film. I watched it at 4 pm in the cinema and it was a great film to relax in a warm armchair to, which… probably wasn’t the idea?
It was also a bit boring.

Shudder tells me this is a documentary, but it doesn’t look like one… confusing.
This is amasing, I love every bit of it. The atmosphere, the visuals, the sheer length. It is just unlike anything I’ve seen in ages.
