Will TPAM be TPBM? Only time will tell.
TPAM is in a flying car :)
Iroquois
01-11-10, 10:39 PM
TPAM was not TPATPAM's TPBM.
honeykid
01-12-10, 10:35 AM
TPAM is correct.

The person above me, for the most part, is a honey (ie sweetie)... but this person is pretty sure he's not a kid... :nope: :D :yup:
WBadger
01-12-10, 04:08 PM
TPAM is most likely correct, hehe.
To TPAM what is that in your avatar? :)
WBadger
01-12-10, 04:34 PM
It is the spaceship from 2001: A Space Odyssey, TPAM.
TPAM Thanks it is quite dark so i couldn't make it out :dizzy:
TPAM likes jugs, if I remember correctly.
Caitlyn

The person above me hasn't been hanging out as much lately as they used to... :(
I was super busy, TPAM! But now I can finally come on more often.

Yes I did, TPAM. I like microphones.

Nice to see TPAM back in this thread! And posting on this site again, for that matter.
Thanks, glad to see you too TPAM. :D

I see TPAM has a Top 6 going, working on the other four I guess, eh?
Yeah TPAM, my top 6 might change too. I have to make a top ten list for my film class and it's due Thursday so...
Harry Lime
01-12-10, 11:46 PM
Does TPAM have to provide a writeup for each film on the list, or is your homework simply "Make a Top Ten List"?
Well, TPAM, my teacher made 10 questions relating film (this class is the best class I've ever had) that we each have to answer. We each have to make a poster to put on the walls, and on that poster must have a picture of yourself, your top 10, and the answers to two of the questions.
Harry Lime
01-13-10, 12:05 AM
Good luck on that, TPAM. Which other films are you thinking of adding to the list? I recall you sent me your unofficial list a ways back, but it's too far back in the log to look for.
City of God, Blow-Up, 2001, Waking Life, Dog Day Afternoon, Touch of Evil. There are some others but those are basically the top contenders.
Harry Lime
01-13-10, 12:16 AM
Well, obviously I'm gonna say you should add 2001, seeing as it's the best movie ever made.
I can't argue with you about that, TPAM. I watched just a few days ago on Blu-Ray, I saw it once before a while ago, but this time I was just blown away.
Harry Lime
01-13-10, 12:25 AM
It does get better with repeat viewings. I think TPAM should add it to his list. Or better yet, ask yourself why you shouldn't add it. Hmmm?
Yeah I definitely want to keep it in there, I can't bring myself to take it out TPAM.
Harry Lime
01-13-10, 12:38 AM
Now you're talking, TPAM. As for the others you listed, all quality flicks in my opinion.
Iroquois

Iroquois

TPAM recently gave one of my favourite movies a 97/100.
TPAM is pictured dancing three posts above.

TPAM is correct in thinking that The Silence Of The Lambs is overrated.
I've only seen that film once, TPAM.

I didn't care for Silence, TPAM, but I should see it again.
Iroquois

I have not seen TPAM's #1 favourite movie. This is a mistake I must rectify as soon as humanly possible.
Yes you do, TPAM. I hope you like it whenever you get around to seeing it.
I need a haircut, TPAM.

TPAM needs to see more British films.

Tsk. Tsk. You should find it and watch it, TPAM.
honeykid

Yes, yes, I know. I have so many films I've got to watch, I'm starting to think that I'll never get to them all, TPAM.

Dog Star Man

honeykid
01-18-10, 07:58 AM

01-18-10, 08:03 AM
I just meant that that post was the 'palindrome post', that's all, TPAM.
Iroquois
01-18-10, 08:06 AM
Ah, fair enough.
Also, turns out this is a palindrome post as well (10301).
Miss Vicky
01-18-10, 11:20 AM
TPAM is talking about palindromes.
To answer TPATPAM's question, I watched it several months ago. I can only watch that movie once a year at most. I always come away feeling like I just got the sh*t kicked out of me and I can't take that too frequently.
BTW, I finally gave myself a Mature fix yesterday. After the disappointments of the various movies I've watched recently, I needed a good laugh. So I put in The Robe.
Once day, TPAM will be Mrs. Vicky.
Iroquois
01-18-10, 01:09 PM
One day, TPAM will probably still be Swan.
And TPAM will still be stone cold crazy.
Iroquois
01-18-10, 01:12 PM
I wonder if TPAM has heard that song.
I just looked it up, and I haven't TPAM. But considering it's by Queen, it's probably good.
Iroquois
01-18-10, 01:19 PM
It's a good song, just like all Queen's best songs it's at once so much like their usual stuff and yet so different.
TPAM, I shall listen to it... now.
Yep, awesome song.
Iroquois
01-18-10, 01:25 PM
I'll say, only real problem with it is that it's a little on the short side, but you can't have everything I guess.
Yeah I noticed it was over pretty quickly, TPAM. But it still rocked while it was going.
Iroquois
01-18-10, 01:41 PM
Queen certainly knew how to rock.

WBadger
01-19-10, 09:54 PM

TPAM is +1 rep point away from having the current year.
honeykid
01-19-10, 09:56 PM
Well, would you look at that. I didn't know I had so much, TPAM.
Iroquois
01-19-10, 11:34 PM
TPAM didn't realise how much rep he had. Have to agree, after a while it does become meaningless.
Tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak, TPAM. Somewhere in this town.
Iroquois
01-19-10, 11:44 PM
Very nice, TPAM.
TPAM is stone cold crazy!
Iroquois

I wonder if TPAM would throw up the horns for Queen.
TPAM is correct im a huge Queen fan :yup: What about yourself?
Iroquois
01-20-10, 08:23 AM
I definitely like 'em, wouldn't say I'm a huge fan as I only really own a couple of greatest hits collections, but I'm working on expanding my collection.
Awesome mate :yup: Hows things with you its been ages since we last chatted!
Iroquois
01-20-10, 08:32 AM
Eh, they go alright. Still plenty of problems to deal with, but that's nothing new. Yourself?
I was quite unwell before Christmas hence the lack of MoFo time but im better now and were going to be ordering our broadband for the house later *fingers crossed* apart from that every thing is quite good. Did you have a good Christmas and newyear?
Iroquois

Iroquois
01-22-10, 11:22 PM
TPAM has been paying attention to my tab posts.
Wes Anderson rules, TPAM.
Iroquois
01-22-10, 11:26 PM
I don't think he rules, but he's definitely an interesting filmmaker.
WBadger
01-22-10, 11:26 PM
I have only seen The Royal Tenenbaums from Wes Anderson and it was a success with me, TPAM.
Miss Vicky
01-22-10, 11:29 PM
TPAM likes The Royal Tennenbaums, a movie I found rather boring.
WBadger
01-22-10, 11:32 PM
TPAM, you didn't find it funny at all?
Miss Vicky
01-22-10, 11:33 PM
Not in the least, TPATPAM.
honeykid
01-22-10, 11:37 PM
TPAM is right, Tenenbaums wasn't funny at all.
Iroquois
01-22-10, 11:37 PM
To be fair, I didn't find it very laugh-out-loud funny, but it was still a good movie.
WBadger
01-22-10, 11:39 PM
I thought Gene Hackman had some really funny dialogue, TPAM.
Miss Vicky
01-22-10, 11:42 PM
"Funny" is not a word I would use to describe anything about that movie, TPAM. "Awkward" pretty much sums it up, though.
WBadger
01-22-10, 11:44 PM
It is offbeat and dark humor, TPAM.
Miss Vicky
01-22-10, 11:47 PM
I think we will have to agree to disagree there, TPAM. To me, it is a failed attempt at offbeat and dark humor.
Iroquois
01-23-10, 04:24 AM
Well, what do you consider a successful attempt at offbeat and dark humour, TPAM?
Miss Vicky
01-23-10, 04:28 AM
Well, TPAM, the first film that comes to mind would be Being John Malkovich.
Iroquois
01-23-10, 04:31 AM
I haven't seen Being John Malkovich yet so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, TPAM.
Miss Vicky
01-23-10, 04:33 AM
You should definitely give it a watch, TPAM. It's one of my favorite movies.
Iroquois
01-23-10, 04:42 AM
Will do, TPAM. I'll try to rent it out next time I go to the video store.
WBadger
01-23-10, 12:35 PM
Yeah, TPAM, it is defenitely one you should watch. I don't know how you feel about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, or Adaptation, but it is written by Charlie Kaufman.
Iroquois
01-23-10, 10:52 PM
Well, I liked both of those a fair bit, so there's a fairly good chance I'll enjoy Being John Malkovich.
Speaking of Kaufman, have you seen Synecdoche, New York?

Classicqueen13

Miss Vicky

I've considered it, TPAM, but haven't decided on one to switch to.
Classicqueen13
01-24-10, 02:44 PM

Miss Vicky
01-24-10, 02:45 PM
Yeah, TPAM, I picked a scene from my favorite movie, featuring my favorite actor and my favorite actress.
I do hope n3wt shows up soon, though.
TPAM, are you a bargain shopper like me?
Miss Vicky
01-24-10, 02:55 PM
Not really, TPAM. I tend to just buy whatever i want and not pay attention to price.
Oh that's good too, TPAM.
Classicqueen13
01-24-10, 03:01 PM
I'm rather cheap, TPAM
That's fine, TPAM. You can get some movies used (like new) for a dollar or less on Amazon, or really cheap anyway. Super duper bargain shopping.
Miss Vicky
01-24-10, 04:30 PM
I've had bad luck with that option, TPAM. Just about every time I've bought a "Like New" DVD from an Amazon third party seller, there's been something wrong with it. Either the DVD was defective or it was in poor condition.
I've been able to get returns/refunds on those items, but I'd rather pay a few extra dollars to not have to deal with the hassle. Besides, once you factor in shipping costs, the savings often isn't that great.
Oh really, TPAM? Good thing I haven't purchased using that option yet... I guess I'll wait and look into it a little more. Thanks for the tip.
honeykid

Yeah, I think she is really pretty.

TPAM admits he was slow.
WBadger
01-25-10, 07:41 PM
No, TPAM, I've not. Is it good?
Yeah, it is pretty good, but the point is Anna Karina is cute in it and winks at the end. You must see it to understand.
TPAM usually isn't slow at responding.
Iroquois
01-25-10, 07:44 PM
Pretty much.
TPAM has an avatar based on one of my favourite movies.
The new Travolta movie looks silly, TPAM.

I was just rambling, you two, TPAM.
TPAM, I'm glad I turned you on to your [current] #2 in your Favorite Movies list.
And I thank you for it, TPAM. :D

The people above me share only one favourite movie in common.

TPAM and I have no favourite movies in common.
WBadger

TPAMs add a "u" to favorite.
Iroquois
01-25-10, 10:36 PM
I wonder if TPAM knows why TPATPAM does that.
honeykid
01-25-10, 10:36 PM
No, I include a "u", TPAM. I don't add it. :p
Dammit, TPAM beat me again.
Iroquois
01-25-10, 10:38 PM
TPAM is slow.
honeykid
01-25-10, 10:48 PM
Yes, I've been too slow the last couple of days, TPAM.
WBadger

TPAM made me Google Anna Karenina.
honeykid
01-25-10, 10:56 PM
You should take a look at it, TPAM.
TPAM wants someone to take a look at it, but what could IT be?
Iroquois

TPAM - if you had read a few posts earlier in the thread, the two other people above me were discussing Anna Karenina.
TPAM didnt realise it was a innuendo, a bad one at that maybe

Yeah, I think you needed an appropriate smiley to get your point across TPAM. Word of advice for next time.
TPAM picked this week's movie theme.
I wonder if TPAM is planning on putting up a top ten anytime soon.
WBadger

I have only seen three of TPAM's Top 10. :(

The person above me is on a mission... to sort out the MoFo top 100... :yup:

The expression I'm looking for has something to do with Hell and freezing.
TPAM edited one of my posts yesterday.

TPAM chose a Star Wars robot.
honeykid
01-26-10, 11:13 PM
TPAM chose a red light.
Iroquois
01-27-10, 05:06 AM
TPAM's avatar does not look like a robot.
TheUsualSuspect
01-27-10, 06:14 AM
TPAM would choose that avatar.
Iroquois
01-27-10, 06:16 AM
Why do you say that?
WBadger
01-27-10, 02:38 PM
Is TPAM a Star Wars geek? TPATPAM might think so.
TPAM has a totally awesome avatar.
Iroquois
01-27-10, 09:50 PM
TPATPAM - I wouldn't say I'm that much of a geek compared to others, but since I recognise IG-88 that's got to mean something.
TPAM is a stupid white man.

My avatar is most definately a robot, TPAM. At least, as much of a robot as The Terminator and, as that's the theme chooser's avatar, I felt I was ok with it.
Iroquois
01-27-10, 10:08 PM
I don't recognise it, TPAM. Where's it from?
honeykid
01-27-10, 10:23 PM
It's Katherine Ross from The Stepford Wives. The first one, that is, not the comedy/whatever remake.
Iroquois
01-27-10, 10:35 PM
I see.
honeykid
01-27-10, 10:37 PM
I take it you've not seen that film, TPAM.
Iroquois
01-27-10, 10:39 PM
No, I haven't. If I had I probably would have recognised it.
honeykid
01-27-10, 10:41 PM
I guess that would depend on how much attention you were paying to it and how long ago it was, TPAM.
Iroquois
01-27-10, 10:44 PM
Perhaps, TPAM.
honeykid
01-28-10, 01:55 AM
TPAM is back online.
Iroquois
01-28-10, 01:59 AM
So is TPAM. Do anything interesting?
WBadger
01-28-10, 04:24 PM
TPAM made a clever name for Iroquois. Nice work.

How's it all going with the MoFo 100, TPAM? Have you tried to start ordering yet or are you waiting until everyone's are in?
