Iroquois
10-06-09, 12:06 PM
Hey, TPAM, when does Whip It come out in the UK? It comes out on Thursday over here.
TPAM has asked about Whip It.
Iroquois
10-07-09, 09:49 AM
TPAM has asked about asking about Whip It.
TPAM has asked a question about Whip It, but I dont know what Whip It is?
Iroquois
10-07-09, 10:01 AM
Once it was a catchy song by Devo, but nowadays it's an all-girl sports movie directed by and starring some lady called Drew. I never heard of her before either.
Ahh  now I understand why you were talking to HK about it :)
Iroquois
10-07-09, 10:04 AM
TPAM is understanding.
TPAM made me understand ;)
Iroquois
10-07-09, 10:07 AM
I wonder what TPAM thinks of Slayer and Megadeth.
They are good bands mate :yup:
Iroquois
10-07-09, 10:16 AM
Cool, TPAM. Just got back from seeing them live and I thought you liked music like theirs so I figured I'd ask.
TPAM has good taste in music.
What is your fav band TPAM?
Good question TPAM but there are so many.. Tool or Metallica. Yourself TPAM ?
honeykid
10-07-09, 10:57 PM

WBadger
10-07-09, 11:17 PM
TPAM will probably see the movie Whip It.
Iroquois
10-07-09, 11:26 PM
TPAM is about to make 400 posts.
Iroquois
10-08-09, 07:37 AM
TPAM has an avatar that reminds me how I haven't seen Thelma and Louise.
TPAM should know I had two rabbits named Thelma and Louise :yup:
Iroquois
10-08-09, 07:48 AM
Rabbits, eh? Own any other equally unusual pets, TPAM?
TPAM I didn't think rabbits were unusual :nope: also have 2 named Roy and HG :yup:
Iroquois
10-08-09, 08:05 AM
They're relatively unusual to me, I only own a dog.
TPAM is busy with college assignments. Thankfully those days are over for me.....for now
Iroquois
10-08-09, 08:58 AM
TPAM has an avatar of Ralph, yet his usertitle is a quote from Milhouse.
TPAM has no problem with his avatar being pink
Iroquois
10-08-09, 09:21 AM
TPAM is missing a finger.
TPAM has an avatar of Ralph, yet his usertitle is a quote from Milhouse.
Well spotted!
I was looking for a picture of aforesaid Irish man but could not seem to find one so i gave up and went for lunch. I may take another perusal to see if i can find it. As you can imagine, i am swamped at work with stuff to do!
Iroquois
10-08-09, 11:02 AM
As you do.
I'd recommend trying to find the episode for free online (gotta find out the name first, though) and taking a Print-screen at the right point. I did that for one episode.
Found a picture on google images Iro. Thanks for the tip though. I will use that sometime if i am in a pickle like this again
Iroquois
10-08-09, 11:17 AM
Excellent, man.
honeykid
10-08-09, 01:21 PM
TPAM is usually TPAM and is again.
The Person above is there again
WBadger
10-08-09, 05:57 PM
TPAM originally had the same avatar as me for the week.
TPAM only for a few hours :yup:
Iroquois
10-08-09, 10:08 PM
TPAM change avatars frequently.
Caitlyn
10-08-09, 10:12 PM
I don't think the person above me sees the world through rose colored glasses... :nope:
Iroquois
10-08-09, 10:13 PM
TPAM is correct.
To TPAM did you finish your assignment :)
TPAM always has good avatars :yup:
Caitlyn
10-09-09, 11:29 AM

TPAM wants some love
Wouldn't it be great if TPAM me was crazy.
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:11 PM
TPAM said "TPAM me" which extends to "The Person Above Me me".
WBadger
10-10-09, 12:13 PM
TPAM needs to live the New Flesh.
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:14 PM
I wonder if TPAM is going along with the new theme or not.
WBadger
10-10-09, 12:16 PM
Wouldn't you say, "The Third Man" is a surreal movie, TPAM?
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:18 PM
No, I wouldn't. What makes you think it is, TPAM?
WBadger
10-10-09, 12:21 PM
Well, I saw it in the "surreal movies" thread and I don't really know how to describe what I think is a surreal movie. I mean, based on the definition, it just feels like a dream, TPAM.
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:24 PM
Fair enough, TPAM.
WBadger
10-10-09, 12:27 PM
I don't know what movie your avatar is from, TPAM. :o
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:28 PM
It's from Videodrome, TPAM.
Its pretty cool all the same TPAM
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:41 PM
Has TPAM seen Videodrome?
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:51 PM
Well, it's worth seeing once, that's for sure.
I'm thinking of watching TPAM's favourite movie sometime soon.
Caitlyn
10-10-09, 12:54 PM
The person above me has an avatar from a movie this person has never seen... and the person above me doesn't have a top ten list anymore... :nope:
Iroquois
10-10-09, 12:56 PM
The person above me also has an avatar from a movie I haven't seen...as for the top ten, well, I don't know. I can't quite come up with a satisfactory list these days.
honeykid
10-10-09, 02:20 PM
TPAM got a really low score for his avatar.
Classicqueen13
10-10-09, 02:21 PM
TPAM doesn't change his usertitle
honeykid
10-10-09, 03:43 PM
TPAM changes her usertitle often.
WBadger
10-10-09, 10:02 PM
I like TPAM's new avatar.
Iroquois
10-11-09, 12:35 AM
The person above me has resorted back to a full top ten for the first time in a while - surprise, surprise, I've seen everything on it.
WBadger
10-11-09, 12:48 AM
I don't like TPAM's attitude when he says "surprise, surprise, I've seen everything on it."
michaelcorleone
10-11-09, 12:48 AM
The person above me writes good reviews. :)
Iroquois
10-11-09, 12:52 AM
TPAM was just a little too slow in posting.
WBadger
10-11-09, 12:53 AM
TPAM for the first time since my membership has made a favorite movies list on his post box.
Iroquois
10-11-09, 12:55 AM
I disagree with TPAM, I've definitely had another one in the past six months (as I recall I only got rid of it in the past month or two).
WBadger
10-11-09, 12:57 AM
The only favorite movies list I saw from TPAM was "the one with that guy in it" and the one he had after that.
Iroquois
10-11-09, 12:58 AM
Hmm, you may be right.
WBadger
10-11-09, 01:00 AM
TPAM needs to watch "The Day the Earth Stood Still".
Iroquois
10-11-09, 01:05 AM
I concur.
I wonder if TPAM needs to watch "Videodrome".
WBadger
10-11-09, 01:07 AM
I probably do, TPAM. But, I have a lot more movies I want to watch before that, pretty obvious when looking at my lists. :o
michaelcorleone
10-11-09, 01:55 AM
TPAM, have you seen Rope?
Iroquois
10-11-09, 02:14 AM
TPAM is questioning someone.
michaelcorleone
10-11-09, 02:34 AM
TPAM is referring to me.
Iroquois
10-11-09, 02:41 AM
Well, it is the point of the thread, TPAM.
michaelcorleone
10-11-09, 03:24 AM
Good point, TPAM.
TPAM has a famous name from a famous movie :yup:
Iroquois
10-11-09, 10:07 AM
TPAM's username is derived from his surname.
michaelcorleone
10-11-09, 11:39 AM
TPAM's avatar reminds me that I need to see Videodrome.
TPAM has a Buffalo '66 avatar.
WBadger
10-11-09, 11:48 AM
TPAM still has carrot as a usertitle, nothing wrong with that. ;)
@michaelcorleone: I haven't seen Rope.
Caitlyn
10-11-09, 11:59 AM
Judging by the lists, the person above me may not be a big fan of westerns... :nope:
TPAM is watching us all...
honeykid
10-11-09, 02:23 PM
TPAM is a horror fan.
WBadger
10-11-09, 03:21 PM
I thought about TPAM last night when I saw Drew Barrymore hosting Saturday Night Live.
Caitlyn
10-11-09, 04:11 PM
The person above me is a T- Rex fan...
WBadger
10-11-09, 05:05 PM
Yes I sure am...
TPAM still hasn't seen AFI's #1 Film...
Iroquois
10-12-09, 12:39 AM
TPAM still hasn't seen most of AFI's top 100 films.
michaelcorleone
10-12-09, 01:27 AM
TPAM above me has seen 2% more of AFI's top 100 films than I have.
Iroquois
10-12-09, 01:27 AM
TPAM has some catching up to do.
michaelcorleone
10-12-09, 01:51 AM
TPAM, you have a strong top 10. Apocalypse Now is one of the best films ever made, in my opinion.
Iroquois
10-12-09, 01:55 AM
Likewise.
I have seen 8 films in TPAM's top 10.
michaelcorleone
10-12-09, 02:37 AM
I have seen 6 movies in TPAM's top 10.
You haven't seen Tetro or Last Tango, correct?
Iroquois
10-12-09, 02:41 AM
Correct. Think I owe it to myself to see them, but Tetro may take ages to get a DVD release (if it gets one).
michaelcorleone
10-12-09, 03:53 AM
TPAM: Of course it will get one. Why wouldn't it?
TPAM is Gods Lonely Man apparently :)
Iroquois
10-12-09, 09:25 AM
TPAM: Of course it will get one. Why wouldn't it?
Because Australia's sort of unreliable like that.
TPAM has a beard.
TPAM doesnt realise that I shaved it off recently but it is growing back :D
Iroquois
10-12-09, 09:39 AM
Why'd you shave it off in the first place?
Had to look respectable for a funeral and then two christenings but its about just under halfway back ;)
Iroquois
10-12-09, 09:42 AM
That's understandable.
Whats happening with you then mate?
Iroquois
10-12-09, 09:48 AM
Same as always, I guess. Uni this, work that, occasional fun. What about on your end?
Well ive just gone through my dvd collection and got rid of about 60+ crap movies and sold them to family members
Iroquois
10-12-09, 09:54 AM
That's a good idea, I should do something like that with a lot of the stuff I don't have any use for.
My wife has been on about it for ages but I havent been bothered tbh but this morning I was quite rough and lead on the couch and with the idea of getting afew newer better dvds I thought bugger it lets do it hahaha and im looking forward to getting some new ones later :yup:
Iroquois
10-12-09, 10:08 AM
That's good, man.
It is hilarious that I have taken 60+ out and it still looks the same amount of dvds in the cabinets
Iroquois
10-12-09, 10:15 AM
Must be some collection, 60 is about a third of my personal collection.
Iroquois
10-12-09, 10:18 AM
I guess.
What is your newest additions then mate?
Iroquois
10-12-09, 10:32 AM
Hmm, think the last DVDs I bought were TRON and Unforgiven. That was a while back now - don't really care about getting anymore right now.
thats fair enough mate, im always on the look out for new dvds just cheap ones really.
Iroquois
10-12-09, 10:39 AM
Yeah, so am I, but I don't really act on actually buying them.
TPAM looks and doesnt buy :)
Iroquois
10-12-09, 10:57 AM
TPAM looks and does buy.
WBadger
10-12-09, 04:21 PM
TPAM really likes I Am Legend.
Iroquois
10-12-09, 11:28 PM
TPAM has an avatar of The Third Man yet hasn't ticked it off the Movie Lists (even though I presume they've seen it).
honeykid
10-12-09, 11:42 PM
I think TPAM is wrong about whether TPAH has seen The Third Man.
Iroquois
10-12-09, 11:44 PM
It's possible, I suppose. I'll let Badger himself/herself (got no idea to be honest) explain.
Has TPAM seen Whip It yet?
WBadger is a guy, if any of the TPsAM care.
Iroquois
10-12-09, 11:56 PM
TPAM - I care, thanks for the info.
TPAM is glad for the info.

Iroquois
10-13-09, 10:13 AM
TPAM is quite fond of this thread.
Iroquois
10-13-09, 10:23 AM
Considering that a little under a quarter of all my posts are in here, I would assume so, TPAM.
That is some dedication for keeping this thread alive Sir and I tip my hat to you
Iroquois
10-13-09, 10:26 AM
TPAM gives me too much credit, I'm sure people could've kept it alive without me.
Well TPAM most people dont have conversations in here as mush you and I.
Iroquois
10-13-09, 10:31 AM
Most people have lives away from their computers, TPAM. :p
I dont understand what you mean TPAM ;)
Iroquois
10-13-09, 10:34 AM
I know, how can people live like that TPAM?
My life is virtual and I like it that way TPAM
WBadger
10-13-09, 06:24 PM
TPAM has a lot of conversations with Iroquois.
FYI, I saw The Third Man a while ago and wanted to watch it again before marking it off the movie list.
honeykid
10-13-09, 06:58 PM
I was wrong about whether TPAM had seen The Third Man or not.
Iroquois
10-14-09, 12:39 AM
I take it TPAM has seen Lost Highway, then?
Iroquois
10-14-09, 08:52 AM
TPAM likes Nightwatch.
Caitlyn
10-14-09, 01:13 PM
The person above me was very busy last night and this person hopes whatever he was doing was at least interesting... or fun... :D
WBadger
10-14-09, 04:41 PM
TPAM is probably my favorite poster in this thread.
TPAM is from Vienna, which is on my to visit list.
WBadger
10-14-09, 05:59 PM
It's actually a reference to my movie theme selection, but cool.
TPAM is a fan of The Simpsons, like me.
honeykid
10-14-09, 11:14 PM
Did TPAM like The Simpson Movie?
Iroquois
10-14-09, 11:17 PM
Has TPAM seen Whip It yet?
WBadger
10-14-09, 11:18 PM
TPATPAM, I enjoyed the movie to some degree. But it had a lot of components to it that showcased the negative parts of the series.
TPAM probably won't see Whip It.
Iroquois
10-14-09, 11:30 PM
TPAM thinks I won't see Whip It.
WBadger
10-14-09, 11:32 PM
TPAM, is that a possibly fair assesment?
Iroquois
10-14-09, 11:38 PM
In short, no.
When TPAM says no, he means no.
WBadger
10-14-09, 11:45 PM
TPAM just taught me a lesson.
Iroquois
10-14-09, 11:46 PM
TPAM's not going to see Whip It, I take it?
WBadger
10-14-09, 11:49 PM
In short, no.
Iroquois
10-14-09, 11:50 PM
Hehe, excellent response, TPAM.
TPAM was impressed with the answer given.
Iroquois
10-15-09, 09:38 AM
Someone had to be.
TPAM is back again.
Iroquois
10-15-09, 10:50 AM
TPAM is gone again.
Im back TPAM I had to take the wife to the bank to put the rent in
Caitlyn
10-15-09, 11:11 AM
This person thinks the person above the person above me might just be a little too tough on himself... :yup: ... and the person above me beat me to the post... and has a very cool avatar... :D
WBadger
10-15-09, 04:45 PM
TPAM forced me to read her last post slowly to achieve full comprehension. :D
honeykid
10-15-09, 09:27 PM
TPAM won't be seeing Whip It! even though they'll have the opportunity long before I do. :(
WBadger
10-15-09, 10:33 PM
I would give you a plane ticket and a movie ticket if I could, TPAM.
honeykid
10-16-09, 09:32 AM
I would accept both if offered, TPAM. :D
Iroquois
10-16-09, 09:50 AM
TPAM is still waiting to see Whip It - which sucks.
honeykid
10-16-09, 09:59 AM
The waiting or the film, TPAM?
Iroquois
10-16-09, 10:06 AM
The waiting, TPAM. I haven't seen the film yet.
WBadger
10-16-09, 04:41 PM
TPAM keeps mentioning the film Whip It a lot.
Iroquois
10-17-09, 12:28 AM
It saves me having to think up anything original.
TPAM is noticing patterns in my posting.
Classicqueen13
10-17-09, 12:29 AM
I like TPAM's usertitle.
Iroquois
10-17-09, 12:32 AM
TPAM's usertitle is quite astute.
Iroquois
10-17-09, 05:08 AM
TPAM is referencing Tom Waits.
Iroquois
10-17-09, 06:55 AM
Question is, does TPAM know what I'm referencing?
I haven't seen the film TPAM is referencing, all I know is City of Angels was loosely based on it.
Iroquois
10-17-09, 07:38 AM
TPAM is quite correct on that count.
Iroquois
10-17-09, 09:24 AM
TPAM is the second person to post that.
WBadger
10-17-09, 11:24 AM
TPAM always chooses great avatars.
Classicqueen13
10-17-09, 10:11 PM
TPAM was TPAM in the last thread I posted on
Iroquois
10-17-09, 10:50 PM
TPAM has a Welshman in her avatar.
WBadger
10-17-09, 11:07 PM
TPAM went with an angel instead of a demon... I think.
Iroquois
10-17-09, 11:12 PM
TPAM isn't quite able to differentiate between angels and demons.
honeykid
10-18-09, 12:22 AM
Like many here, I really like TPAM's avatar.
Iroquois
10-18-09, 08:46 AM
TPAM changed to a more appropriate/Drew-less avatar.
TPAM is from Australia I'm guessing.
Iroquois
10-18-09, 09:13 AM
What makes you think I'm from Australia, TPAM?
I remember TPAM making reference to something Australian, unless it was someone else.
Iroquois
10-18-09, 09:39 AM
That sounds about right, TPAM.
What state is TPAM from, if TPAM doesn't mind me asking.
Iroquois
10-18-09, 09:54 AM
Queensland.
I'm trying to remember which state TPAM is from - nothing's coming to mind, though.
Victoria. I doubt I mentioned it.
TPAM enjoys much better weather.
Iroquois
10-18-09, 10:02 AM
Except when we get dust clouds and bushfire smoke.
TPAM lives in a state that's had more than its fair share of bushfires.
TPAM couldn't be more right about that.
WBadger
10-18-09, 12:00 PM
TPAM is from Australia, I didn't know that.
Iroquois
10-18-09, 12:02 PM
I'm not sure where TPAM is from.

TPAM should have a creepy avatar too :yup:
honeykid
10-20-09, 12:57 AM
TPAM has a pretty good avatar from a bad film.
Iroquois
10-20-09, 08:14 AM
TPAM has an avatar I don't recognise.
Iroquois
10-20-09, 08:26 AM
I wonder if TPAM's current avatar fits the movie theme of the week (or if TPAM has decided to abandon it).
Is that not the head of a demon/devil TPAM ?
Iroquois
10-20-09, 08:34 AM
I don't know what that is, TPAM. I certainly don't associate it with being an angel or a demon.
Has TPAM not seen Altered States ?
Iroquois
10-20-09, 09:10 AM
This (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?p=526983) should answer your question, TPAM.
I presumed as much TPAM since you recognized my earlier Altered States avatar, why don't you recognize this one ?
Iroquois
10-20-09, 09:20 AM
I guess I didn't make myself clear - I didn't think it was an angel or a demon for certain. Of course, I recognise it, it's one of the things everyone remembers from Altered States.
TPAM wouldn't associate that hallucination with the devil/demon ? That is strange. I presumed that was obvious. Its a religious vision after all.
Iroquois
10-20-09, 09:31 AM
I don't know, man, I was watching it late at night and haven't really thought that much about it since watching it, so I didn't make the obvious connection.
Thats fair enough if you haven't seen it in years, TPAM.
Iroquois
10-20-09, 09:34 AM
It feels like years, TPAM.
TPAM has 8369 more posts then me.

TPAM's avatar is very creepy indeed.
WBadger
10-20-09, 09:02 PM
TPAM likes Simpsons Irish jokes, maybe because he/she is from Ireland.
Caitlyn
10-20-09, 09:46 PM

WBadger
10-20-09, 10:45 PM
I need to watch a lot of the films in the TPAM's Top 100 List.
Iroquois
10-20-09, 10:48 PM
TPAM has cut his list of favourites down from 10 to 8.
WBadger
10-20-09, 10:49 PM
TPAM made an avatar switch for this week's theme.
Iroquois
10-20-09, 10:50 PM
I don't think TPAM goes in for switching avatars during the week. At least, not that I've noticed.
