What the heck is a pwner, TPAM?
Iroquois
04-08-09, 11:47 PM
Someone who pwns, TPAM.
Harry Lime
04-08-09, 11:50 PM
TPAM is very informative.
Well I would think a pwner would know what a pwner is, right TPAM?
Iroquois
04-08-09, 11:53 PM
TPAM is right.
But yeah, serious answer - "pwn" is an intentional typo of "own", a term used mainly in videogames to describe when a player is viciously defeated or outmaneuvered by an opponent, and is therefore "owned" (or "pwned"). This also extends to virtually any incident where a person falls victim to a particularly outstanding act of vilification.
Interesting that you didn't know what "pwning" is.
I bet "pwn" came to be when people who were getting pwned tried typing "I'm getting owned" but was getting owned so hard they couldn't type very well and focus at the same time so they were like "imh getiiopng pwned"
, TPAM.
Iroquois
04-09-09, 12:00 AM
That's exactly what happened, TPAM. How astute of you to realise that.

TPAM has the same name as my son, not the Lime bit
Iroquois
04-10-09, 01:43 AM
TPAM named his son Harry. Why?
Harry Lime
04-10-09, 01:58 AM
TPAM, why not? It's probably Harold, and Harry for short.
Iroquois
04-10-09, 02:01 AM
I don't know, there might actually be some sort of reason.
Harry Lime
04-10-09, 02:05 AM
There usually is, TPAM. I was just kidding with the whole 'why not' as I use Harry as an alias.
Iroquois
04-10-09, 02:19 AM
Eh, well, as long as you don't actually act like it's a real name, it's cool.
Harry Lime

Iroquois
04-10-09, 04:58 AM

Or is he?
Harry Lime
04-10-09, 05:04 AM
TPATPAM could be Mike, TPAM. The most common North American name for males for the last 25 years or so, although its popularity as a name is fading. Technically it is Michael, but only my parents and so-called authority figures call me that.

I think it will be a little longer than that TPAM :rotfl:
Iroquois
04-11-09, 10:13 AM
I just made an educated guess, TPAM. You make roughly 14 posts a day according to your profile, and by my calculations it will take you about 69 days to make the remaining 981 posts.
That is very interesting TPAM we will see in 2 months ;)

04-11-09, 10:22 AM
Yeah, there's no telling how soon I'll reach 6,000 though - can't really apply the same mathematics to myself.
