After this brief introduction into the brokenness of some of these characters, PTA immerses us into this lifestyle for a long period of time without ever coming up for air in the real world.
Other than the well conceived characters, the acting in this film is also outstanding.
This movie isn't just about two characters though - it's about a bunch : Buck Swope , Maurice Rodriguez , The Colonel , Scotty J , Little Bill , Todd Parker , Floyd Gondolli , Amber Waves , and Rollergirl (played by an all-star cast).
