The whole story is like something out of a horror movie with deranged characters, and a very haunted looking Gotham City.

Tim Burton assembled quite the cast for this sequel, arguably the most eclectic and interesting cast put together for any of the Batman films, or superhero films at large for that matter.

Batman Returns is probably the darkest comic book movie ever made, something Tim Burton does incredibly well, and something comic book movies are still trying to achieve now.
