DeLorean to resume production after 33 years

So the DeLorean is coming back into production for the first time since 1982!

Will definitely be a more interesting car with a modern 300+ hp engine than the PRV V-6 the original came with. I wonder though exactly what the choices will be?

Buy one or don't buy one I would imagine

As someone who's driven one, it performs exactly like how you'd imagine an 80s American low powered 'sports' coupe would perform.

Weirdly, the people of Belfast are proud of it. The DeLorean and the Titanic...

I meant as in options for the car.

Yeah to be honest I do agree with you there, DeLoreans are fun iconic cars and I'm sure this is yet another cool toy to add to the collection.

Although as technology has improved over the years you can pay near enough the same price for a nice Porsche or whatever and get much more car for your money. But still to have a modern engine with double the horsepower in the DeLorean will be exciting!

Why is this in General Movie Discussion? This doesn't have anything to do with movies.
We closed the Back To The Future section almost 10 years ago so DeLorean related stuff goes in General.

Apart from Herbie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the submersible Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me and the 2CV in Dead Man's Shoes it's probably the most recognisable movie car.
