I'm just going to mention some of the movies and performances I've enjoyed from the man. Otherwise, I'd be here all day. Besides dozens of unmentioned TV appearances, I'll list Rebel Without a Cause, Giant, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, The Trip, Cool Hand Luke, Hang 'Em High, Easy Rider, True Grit, The American Friend, Apocalypse now, River's Edge, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Blue Velvet, Hoosiers, Red Rock West, Colors, The Hot Spot, True Romance, Speed, Witch Hunt, Waterworld, Land of the Dead and several more. I'll be watching a few of those in the days to come.

It's sad hear another celebrity has passed out away. Dennis Hopper had a few good films to his name like Easy Rider, Speed, and Blue Velvet. I even remember as a kid seeing him in the Super Mario Bros. movie. He will surely be missed.

Hopper was a good actor... but has been reported to have been pretty much of an arse in real life... hopefully, he and his family/friends/etc. will all rest in peace now...

I don't think I have seen any of his movies, but damn cancer sucks. May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted through this difficult time.

I've been bummed about this all day. Watching a movie tomorrow in his honour.

He is a legend. He was not only an actor , as well as director and writer and producer. I liked "Easy Rider" one of his best creation.

he will be missed . when I found out he died I was at a friends house and it was on the Yahoo! home page and I said, 'Oh my god Dennis Hopper died!' I was really upset. My friend turns around and says, 'Who's that?' I had to remind myself that we are both 15 and I am lucky if I can go through the day without them asking me who a certain actor is or what that movie is when I bring them up in conversation. I'm going to miss him dearly.
