I didn't finish it because I thought it was pretty stupid. I don't like seeing people getting raped (for a crappy story line) and I don't like seeing a bunch of hillbilly wiener. That's not to say I enjoy other types of wiener.

Well, I do, but I Spit On Your Grave is unbearable to watch. At least the woman survives the ordeal and gets revenge on her rapists by murdering them, in various ways, including castration. This might be cathartic for rape victims who didn't get revenge, but the rape scenes are awful - oh my god, it's like the entire second act is nothing but rape, rape, and more rape. Everywhere she goes, she's raped. I felt horrible and sorry for this character - if you can call her a character, she's very one dimensional, really. A woman goes into the woods with her typewriter to write, she runs into some hillbillies, days later they rape her endlessly, she goes back home, smokes a few cigarettes, looks vengeful, then goes out and kills them all.

So it was a good thing I didn't finish it?

I try to avoid movies with rape scenes, they're a little disturbing. But has anyone scene the rape scene from the movie kids? Or the one from Monster maybe... even though it wasnt rape as much as it was tieing her up and sticking a beer bottle up her ****, and then brutally pouring rubbing alcohol over her wounds after beating her and probably ass raping her... Its not so much memorable as it is seared into my memory, sorry to disturb anyone
