I skipped Sorcerer not because of Star Wars but because I liked Wages of Fear far too much to sit through a later "adaptation." It just didn't look that good to me, mainly because I could never see Scheider as a "desperate" tough guy, not even in his police roles. He looks more like a school teacher. Teaching dance. In an elementary school.
