Music in Film: Favorite scores, songs, soundtracks, and scenes

Most definitely: Fight Club/Pixies with "Where is my mind" . During the final scene when the narrator watches all the skyscrapers implode through a big window.

About two weeks after I watched Lady Vengeance I started listening to the Soundtrack and now it's playing for weeks or even months in an infinite loop

One of my favourites is the Jurassic Park Soundtrack. It's so beautiful and important for the movie as it supports and intensifies the astonishing moments of awe like the helicopter scene or the first dinosaur scene

Theres several I like, heres a few.

Xanadu
The Superman opening theme, the 1977 version
Grease
Man With The Golden Arm
Henri Mancini's closing theme from Lifeforce
Showboat
Not exactly a movie theme, but Richard Rodger's soundtrack from the TV series Victory At Sea

The Deer Hunter Cavatina
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly finale
Fistful of Dynamite- John's Opening
Aguirre: The Wrath of God- Opening & Ending

Music I liked from movies released in 2013:

12 Years a Slave

Oblivion

American Hustle

The Place Beyond the Pines

Only God Forgives

+ some of the music in The Great Gatsby and Spring Breakers.

Post about American Hustle without Tom Jones or David Bowie?

Oh, that's from the scene with Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner. Nice.

Forgot about it completely. Most of the music in American Hustle is very good though, still, my favorites were the two I posted.

Yeh the soundtrack is quality all round, I love Elton John so I think Goodbye Yellow Brick road might be my favourite as well.

The Brave Little Weeman Returns!
Come on. There only needs to be one post really:
