Do you do artistic activities?

Tools

Do you MoFoers? (as hobbies or even profession?)

Can range from writing (poetry, stories, screenplays) to painting, create digital art, playing an instrument etc.

I write, mostly non-fiction (reviews and essays) but I'm working on some short stories in the background, which is to say just when I have time or something occurs to me, or when it's not nice enough to be outside. I do this very slowly and it's more a long process of attrition than any sudden stroke of inspiration.

Lots of design work for web development, too, which has elements of that. But mostly, writing.

Trouble with a capital "T"
I see art in everything I do, but no I don't currently do any of those things you mentioned. I do have a rough draft of a novel I wrote but have never went back and polished it...I mean I'm not sure what the purpose would be, it's not like it's going to get published.

I believe it'll have any meaning one attributes to... some just write to get it out of their system, some go further and publish it... which is easier than ever I guess. I write (translate: try to do so, lol) with a few people on some weekend meetings and they talk about self-publishing their work all the time. (there's also Amazon, etc.)... and for what end? well, you've added something to humanity. Again, depends on how one sees it.

Seeing art in everything one does is a pretty chill way to go with your days though, no doubt

I was always thinking in the back of my mind that one day I'd finish it and put it on Amazon. But just a week ago I read a post on another board from someone did that and according to him, you know have to give driver licensee numbers to be able to have your novel on Amazon. I'm just not doing that, I don't give out personal information to Amazon like that. That's why I pondered in my post want good would it be to finish my novel. A week ago I would've thought differently.

I take photos. I have no artistic talent at all, so pressing a button to try and capture what I see is the best way I have of doing something. There was a time when I wrote a lot.

I use to enter into a large photo show and did that for 20 years. Then Covid came along and it was cancelled. The show came back of course and I've attended it, but I stop entering. One of these days when I'm not busy I'll do it again, I think

I mainline Windex and horse tranquilizer
I've written a dozen or so screenplays and I build models.

Mostly did cars and boats but a friend of mine got me hooked on monster kits, too

Love the car... goes well with that Kurt Russell avatar too.

Thanks - I did a custom Death Proof Nova a couple of months ago and did the skull and lighting bolts decal on the hood and the rubber duck hood ornament - got them off Ebay. And I made a custom roll cage and the plexiglass passenger side box and seat. A little sloppy but I was pretty happy with it. I'll try to remember to post a photo.

I can play the piano and I am trying out crocheting. Not too good at it but practice makes perfect.

I front a band as my side hustle.

Yeah, I gotta hop on continuing with Piano. Consistency is everything.

I'm an accountant, so no.
