SPENGLER
Don't cross the streams.

VENKMAN
Why?

SPENGLER
It would be bad.

VENKMAN:

SPENGLER-
Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping
instantaneously and every molecule in your
body exploding at the speed of light.

STANTZ
Total protonic reversal.

VENKMAN:
That's "bad." OK. Alright, important safety

What a cool old thread! I once watched UHF with a friend for about 30 days straight, I've also probably seen The Crow at least 50 times. I've seen just about all of my favorite 100 movies at least 5 times or so.

I am burdened with glorious purpose
There's only one movie I've seen about 100 times. I've seen a lot of movies like 20 or so times... but nothing reaches 100 except....

*drum roll*

The Wizard of Oz.

I mean, really, I watched it every Easter weekend for my entire childhood. Then I watched it a bunch of times on VHS. Then on DVD. Then when I had kids.

I gather when they have kids we'll watch it again..... *goes on and on and on*

No idea, I lose count after about 20 times. There are a handful that I know I've seen many more times than that but don't have a specific count for:

Akira
The Playhouse
Popeye
numerous Betty Boop cartoons
Sherlock Jr.
The Blade
The Long Goodbye
Brewster McCloud
Aliens

Some that I've seen 10 or more times (there aren't that many):

Lawrence of Arabia
A Zed & Two Noughts
Prospero's Books
Vengeance is Mine
Various Buster Keaton films
Limbo
Aguirre
Ghostbusters and other childhood favorites (Star Wars, other obvious ones)
Robocop
Alien
Henry Fool
No Such Thing
The Seventh Seal
Repo Man

I have watched these at least 30 x's or more. Sometimes a couple times a month if the mood hits.
The Black Stallion
Star Wars
The Thing From Another Planet
Mallrats
A Christmas Story
The Princess Bride
The Song Remains The Same (know it's music but I think it qualifies as one?)
The Mummy (new one)

There is an endless list that i could put here and actually contemplated listing them all, but I would be here all night.

When Harry Met Sally is probably the main one i have watched to death and when i was younger i couldnt get enough of Lion King and All Dogs Go To Heaven despite them both reducing me to tears.

Hello Salem, my name's Winifred. What's yours

There are 2 movies that I have seen 100+ times and I will explain why... One of them is my wifes favorite movie and she puts it in the DVD player every night before we go to sleep. The other is my favorite movie and I watched it every night before I got married so here they are...

Oceans Eleven
13th Warrior

Ive seen most episodes of family guy a lot if that counts, pretty close to hundreds of times.

Back when I was in my James Dean mode, I saw Giant in its first release about nine times in as many theaters. But that was back when I thought there was some point to counting how many times I'd seen that particular film and long before videos and DVDs were available for home-viewing. Now there are lots of movies I've seen multiple times but nothing approaching an addiction to hundreds of viewings. I don't watch anything to the point where I know the dialogue for each actor.
