Heh, same here. I caught Westworld at some point in the late 70s, and was traumatized! I was too young for stuff like that...shame on my Mother for allowing me to see it!

Not sure if you mean movies based entirely on "robots" or if movies that include robots will suffice, but here are my favs:

Star Wars (I love all 6, so pick one if you must)

I, Robot

Robocop

The Terminator

Bladerunner

Total Recall

I love that movie so much! *smiles*

I still wish Futureworld had been as good.

It's hard to choose one best robot movie, so here is a list:
- Blade Runner
- Terminator (original and T2)
- Robocop (only the first one)
- Cyborg (the one with Van Damme)
- Transformers

For me it's A.I. because it's story was great and very heart touching...I love the effects too...that movie is awesome...

Terminator 3, yo!

The Terminator and The Terminator II (Cameron (1985 & 1991) are both very enjoyable films and i have some time for I, Robot (Proyas, 2004). I cant say its a genre which really engrosses me though.

Why do you say this fbi? I have been aiming to buy it for the longest while ever since it was recommended to me.

HAHA, I grew up watching reruns of Buck Rogers and I always loved me some RoboCop.
