Trying Real Hard To Be The Shepherd
I wanted to give Stallone a spot for giving me Rocky and First Blood, but ultimately cut him.

I have only seen Taylor in Virginia Woolf, but I will never forget that performance.

I have only seen Dean in Rebel. I don't get the fuss, but I am quite obviously the minority on that.

She is great in it, but if she'd only been well thought of for that performance, I'd have understood.
Cleopatra just showed up on Netflix. I qued it, no good?

Wow. It looks like the top 10 is going to be much more modern than I thought. Icons like Jimmy Dean and Marilyn didn't even make the Top 30. Thought Clooney would be higher too. This is getting really, really interesting.

I've never cared for Tom Cruise. I can't see past his insanity with his connection to Scientology. I only like him in Rain Man and that's just because I'm able to see past him and see the character. His other movies don't interest me.

When I heard the list was about movie stars, the first name that came to mind was Tom Cruise. I'm not a fan, but he's what I think of when I think modern movie star. I'm kind of glad he's this low though because he's kind of a weird guy.

Holy Crap... So I've missed too much to comment a lot, but here's my list so far:

3. Bruce Campbell (70)
4. Russell Crowe (91)
6. John Cusack (60)
7. Victor Mature (96)
8. Kate Winslet (60)
11. Kevin Costner (64)
16. Steve Buscemi (50)
17. Vince Vaughn (92)
23. Robert Downey, Jr. (58)
25. Brendan Fraser (1 point list)

Tom Cruise was my #18. One of those actors that I think I don't like and then realize I love half their movies or more. Jerry Maguire, Rain Man, Color Of Money, Mission Impossible, The Firm, Top Gun, and A Few Good Men are all very good to great. Oh yeah Magnolia, one of my five favorite ever. Safe to say I like Tom Cruise depite myself.

It's been a long time but, like I said, I don't get it. I think mark's a fan of Cleopatra, though. I think the story of the making of the film is far more interesting than the film.

Cruise is another of mine. I had him at #7. I think he gets more praise than he used to in the 90's, but I still think he's overshadowed by everything else that comes with being Tom Cruise.

1 Drew Barrymore
3 Claire Danes
4 Christina Hendricks
5 Samantha Matthis
6 Meg Ryan
7 Tom Cruise
8 Bob Hoskins
12 Winona Ryder
13 Heather Langenkamp
16 John Travolta
20 George Clooney
25 JLC

Yeah, the dude makes really good movies. There is no question about it.

Not to me. I really don't get Tom Cruise's appeal. I think it's probably due to his name. What comes to my mind most about him is that his name just stands out... Tom Cruise. I think he has a good name, perhaps. It's helped him.

Chaplin was my number 6, Marilyn was my number8 and Clooney was my number 19!

Chaplin was simply a genius who perfectly captured the fine line between drama and comedy. I'm never bored or unmoved when I watch one of his films.

Marilyn Monroe is pretty much the definition of what a movie star really is. I love watching her on screen. She's a phenomenon.

I agree with Honeykid about Clooney. He has an old-fashioned vibe around him that I really like. The man has class and he's been in some great films. He also has a certain light-heartedness to him that makes him even more charming.

Who was the first name to pop into your head? Just curious.
