Regarding Robert Downey Jr.

Chaplin, hands down. He's sort of gone off the boil since he ditched the Coke - awful smug aura off him now. He needs to get back into the talc and a decent Indie script to get his juices flowing again

but now you have my attention
Iron man - I know it wont be considered as it's marvel action film but he owns that role, humour, wit and emotion.

The Bib-iest of Nickels
Either Iron Man or the first Sherlock Holmes movie, I think he did very well at capturing a character in each of those movies. I also believe that his "arrogant" aura is what makes him so endearing in his movies. He doesn't try and be like other actors and always smile friendly for the camera, instead, his personality shines through the actual movie.

Nice to see some love for KISS KISS BANG BANG...Downey has rarely been better.
He's never actually made a bad film that I can think of, its just he's such a brilliant actor, I don't think he's been hitting top gear lately. He did say it that it was about time he started making movies that people actually watch (blockbusters basically). C'mon Robbo, get the old glass dick back out and give us a good indie that u make acting look so easy.

A loving heart is the truest wisdom.
I've yet to see a bad RDJ movie but I he was at his best in The Soloist. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a close second though.
