People can "stay on the point" and still not sound stupid and disrespectful. Next time choose your words more wisely before delving into extremes.

Ringding, with all due respect, it doesn't seem you are looking at "how much care goes into a movie", if you simply excuse it because of a female lead. And no (intellegent) critics I know of ever analyze a work of art simply because someone is of a gender that they don't happen to like.

A lot of women liked Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Terminator 2, Aliens 2. And answer me this; did you see Charlie's Angel's? If so why? If not, why not?

So please indulge me, and restate your point before you come across as being too misogynistic.

I liked charlie's angels and looking forward to CA2. Since I didn't see DD yet, I'm not sure how valid "my point" is. I'm off to see Far from heaven. I'll let you know how it is. I hope they do something with her nose.

Obviously this guy has never read Daredevil the comic, because the relationship between Elektra and Matt Murdock/Daredevil was most of what the comic was about. That and fight scenes.

oh, and is it just me, or are a lot of the new folks here really rude and say inflammatory things in lieu of well thought out ideas in their posts? I always try to give everyone a chance, and I thank the folk who gave me a chance when I was new, but some of these people coming in are just .

This may just be about poor phrasing. If someone says "women don't appreciate comics," it gets a bad response (and rightfully so). If someone says "most real comic book fans are male, so they're probably playing up the romance angle to bring more females through the turnstiles," it'd probably be hailed as a valid, intelligent comment (also rightfully so).

I'm seein Daredevil Thursday night, Feburary 13th in DLP. It's gonna be awesome!

According to the Trinity Mirror, two Daredevils that were on top of movie billboards in Liverpool were stolen this weekend.
The two figures, which are made from fibre glass and weigh 70 kilos, were stolen on Mount Vernon View and West Derby Road. They are also in place on billboards in other cities around the UK.
The ads were created by Maiden, who's national development manager, Neil Buchanan, addressed the issue. "We have not reported this to police as we have little chance of getting them back. They were tightly attached to the billboards but there are obviously some big Daredevil fans out there who wanted one of the figures desperately."
The company realized the risks involved when putting something like this up. "There were risks about using these figures for the adverts but they did generate a lot of interest. But we would like them back so they can be put back on show again."
