I am trying to decide if I should go to sleep or keep posting...hmmmmm.
So, what did you decide?!? You're in bed, aren't you?

It was a long day. Now I'm medicated, and ready for bed. Next week is a long, legal, pain-in-my-butt week, so I plan to medicate a lot then, as well.

Valium is some bitchin' stuff.

At this moment, I'm happy there's a spell-checker on this site.

When this crap is over with, I'll post normally again. Games, and all. Not that anyone cares.

Nighty!

Dest', You are great, and I for one love your games....yes, I suck at them, but I try. You are a staple on my mofo page...no idea what that means but I love you just the same.

I'm not old, you're just 12.
Plotting out a brand new comic and jammin' to some Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff. I'm in my reggae phase today.

Thank you! I saw you once I left the board.

So, I'm a staple, eh?!? I'm so happy I can hold a page of your's together. I have no clue what we are talking about, either.

It's felt odd. Normally I come here when I need a break away. Through this situation, and let's face it, it's a bunch of jackass's trying to steal from my children. (Huge mistake!) Anyway, I've been so wired, it feels weird to simply sit here and post. It did for the first week or so. I feel real peaceful right now, but I'm sure that eight hours of sleep, has a lot to do with that. Thank you Mr. Valium. Whatever works, I suppose.

Maybe by June, or July, I can get all three games going on a regular basis. I still want to buy that software, and snip a very few seconds from theme music. It's theme music made for specific movies, to test you movie freaks. Tank was wired for that one, so maybe he will be back by then.

So, what am I doing right now? Gabbing a lot, it would seem. Watching a video I made for someone. He's going to think it's stupid, more than likely, but I don't care.

Now I need to get some food, post a tad, and then go shopping. I haven't been to The Home Depot in a week or two. I'm having withdrawals.

ive got one exam tomorrow then ill have finished my second year. It's going pretty gd but this is hard cause i never watch horror films so ive got a lot of catching up to do. Right now Im watching An American Werewolf in London

What year are you in?
Third year. Funny you say that because get the impression hardly anyone on my course as seen any films, i was one of two people to have seen ANY Wes Anderson films.

Is your course quite theoretical based? Be interested to know how your units compare to mine. It's only in the last semester that have actually enjoyable assignments- textual analysis of Halloween, psychoanalysis of Shivers, cult status of two zombie films and a journalistic piece on any facet of Asian cinema i chose.

Guessing you've decided on your dissertation topic by now as well?

Havent discussed dissertations yet, from what the information on my programme details says, i dont do one. It tells me the requirements for y modules next year and they're just made up of like 2000 word essays. But my screenplay will have to be 60 minutes screen time so thats like a dissertation. My modules for next year are:
*The Modern Vampire
*Contemporary Hollywood
*Contemporary film theory
*Dystopian Film
*Screenwriting

to be honest the teaching is kinda all over the place, you get one lecture and seminar a week on a subject, then the next week its something different. So thats 3 hours on one topic, and we are given preparation essays to do to get us ready for exams or anything. It's kinda frustrating.

Yeah, that's like us- each week is a lecture, seminar and screening on different topic within each unit. Screenplay was an option for us instead of dissertation, somehow think that would be harder than 10, 000 essay. You have some quite interesting sounding units, ours have been very general- Gender and Sexuality, Cult Cinema, East Asian Cinema, Black American Cinema, Contemporary European Directors and Analysing Stars were units this year.

Do you mean are or aren't given preparation essays?

Hello Salem, my name's Winifred. What's yours
thats right, no prep work for us. You have really broad subjects, we had lots of third year options:
*The Remake
*Italian National Cinema
*Childhood on Film
*Representing Women: Feminist Perspectives
*British Television Drama
etc

Id rather do a screenplay than a dissertation, i just wrote my first screenplay and I really like the process and its something id probably like to do more of in the future. Any idea what you're gonna do with your degree?

BTW: at this very moment I am listening to Bowie and just finished watching sex and the city

Gee, they're just one of lectures within our units! We don't get any prep work for our exams either, mostly we get the questions a week or more before the exams to prepare answers for ourselves. Though think altogether had about 4 exams.

No idea what to do with the degree, thinking PGCE for the £6000 bursary other than that clueless.

What Bowie you listening to, scarily, i'm listening to him as well- Mixes Collection.

Destiny is my cup of tea too

I have female cramps.
Thank you, lady! You guys are great, too.

I can't help you with that other issue!

I have something in my eye and the screen is blurry, I think it's eye boogers. But I was rubbing it and now it's sore and dry. But anyway, my cramps... Jason tried rubbing my stomach but he did it all wrong and then tried to get sexual, geesh! I took a hot bath and it only worked for the amount of time I was in the tub. Tylenol didn't work and smelling Jason's pits didn't work. So I had a shot of vodka and let my male cat lay on my stomach and it took my cramps away! This is a strange thing to talk about, but ladies, vodka and laying on your back with a male cat on your stomach takes period cramps away lmao. Not sure if a female cat will do the same. Now i'm going to bed.

Post of the year!

There's a film in there. Somebody call Mike Leigh!

Wishing I missed Gummo's last post!

Now that I've figured out how to blend pictures on my videos, I want to remake the two Lionel Richie You-tubes that I have. Why? Because I'm picky!
