Saddest movie you have seen

A few of my favorite sad movies are

- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: I almost cried when I saw this movie because it really hits home once you think about it. Most people who have ever really been in love have wanted to kill their spouse or will say things like "I wish we never met" so this film brought those thoughts to reality...plus Jim Carrey did an amazing job with Joel

- Closer: By far in my top 3 favorite films of all time. I don't think I've ever seen a mainstream film that relates to what it's really like to be in a relationship so well. On many levels I can relate with all of the characters (except greedy ass Jude Law) which makes it more powerful. If you haven't seen Closer, I really suggest that you do. Heh, and now everytime I hear "The Blower's Daughter" by Damien Rice I just want to break down into tears.

and to keep it short, my last pick is
Harold and Maude: If you haven't seen this, you fail. If you've seen this and didn't like it, you fail. Harold and Maude is extremely sad...but it's funny and really morbid for it's time and I think it was really innovative and could be used as a map for future film makers.

Bravehart (the only movie i have cried on)
and Million Dollar Baby and Awakenings maybe a little sad aswell

there is plenty others but those will do i think

have to say king kong...and braveheart are really sad films i have ever seen.

Definitely "The Hours" (Nicole Kidman).....a very sad and depressing movie.

Another sad one for me (and please don't laugh cuz I love this movie) is Finding Neverland. When Johnny Depp says to Kate Winslet this is Neverland when he transforms Neverland into her backyard I can't stop from crying.

It is a tie for me between "My Life" and "I Dreamed of Africa" Both had me inconsolable.

Finding Neverland was a tear jerker for me as well....and at that same scene. And since I was already emotional...I continued to cry in the the scene between Winslets' mother (Julie Christie) and Johnny Depp...very touching. I couldn't believe how red my eyes were by the end of the movie.

Let Me Entertain You
A Very sad film for me to watch is Pay It Forward.
WARNING: "Pay It Forward" spoilers below
When Haley gets stabbed
I always get upset and the end scene, however cheesy is still sad.

That's what I meant. Jesus's triumph over the grave, hell, and death was complete with His resurrection. Sorry if I didn't word my previous post better...didn't mean to be confusing.

This One Time At Band Camp...
The United States Of LeLand and The Notebook was pretty sad. I did some serious crying on those two. I guess movies with Ryan Gosling get to me.

BANNED (PLANT)
for me it's Boys Don't Cry....really made me cry everytime i watch it....
what a tragic ending for a person who fall for the same sex....really broke my heart.

I found Pay it Forward, Boys Dont Cry, Million Dollar Baby, and a few others pretty sad, I cant really think of them all right now, but i am sure they will pop up in my head when I least expect it.

PLEASE wrap spoiler tags around stuff like this. Giving away the end of the film = no fun!
