I dont think I have gone a long time without watching something at home.

My Letterboxd diary is a bit messy, but I think the longest was four months back in 2024. There were probably longer periods I didn't keep recorded, especially since I don't really go out to cinema or even watch movies as often these days, hah...

If you’re talking about DVD/streaming/VHS, my record is a month (and that’s because I spent that time overseas in a war zone).
If you’re talking about the cinema, my record is five years and two months.

Under 24 hours. Occasionally on a long work day maybe I'll go a couple days before watching another movie.

It's gotta be one of my vacations to Disney World. You just don't have the spare time during the day, and when you get back to your room you just pass out.

Probably a month or two. For a while I wasn't watching much because I couldn't focus on something 90 minutes or longer at a time. That reminds me; I need to watch The Odd Job. Maybe tomorrow...

I hate insomnia. Oh yeah. Last year I had four cases of it, and each time it lasted three months.

I hit a couple slumps last year that lasted months. Back in my movie watching prime I'd watch two to three movies/day. In the last few weeks I've been trying to make up for lost time by watching at least two a day. I'd don't know how long my energy will last.

Good gosh, I can't remember, surely when I was still touring and recording, I wasn't watching as much - when I get into creative mode it completely overtakes my life, but I'm sure my wife would have said at some point, "You need to step back, take a break. let's do dinner and movie"

Looking at my lifetime stats at Letterboxd I've gone 501 consecutive weeks with at least 1 movie viewed a week, and I have 1,977 2+ film days since signing up in late 2015 (not necessarily consecutive, because when I was having my surgeries, I went days without a movie)

Never more than 3 or 4 days. Generally at least one movie in the theater on weekend (sometimes 2) and then, generally 2 or 3 on home video during the week.

Sometimes, I'm in a fragmented mood and watch parts of 2 at home late at night.

I like to unplug for the entire month of November. No Internet, no movies, no music. Just books.
