Great Non-Sexual Movies b/w Man and a Woman?

True, but is potentially inferred sex to be included as movies "with sex"?

And lots of time such inferences are left up to the audience - people could argue whether it was definitely inferred, and others could just say, "I didn't see that inference, and I didn't see any sex - so as far as I'm concerned no sex occurred."

I never saw Harold & Maude (1971) in its entirety. Was sex inferred in that one or was it a romantic, yet platonic relationship?
Pretty sure Harold and Maude didn’t have sex

Trouble with a capitial 'T'
Pretty sure Elvis never had sex with any of his leading ladies either.
Live a Little, Love a Little (1968), Elvis spends a few days in free spirited Bernice's (Michele Carey) beach bungalow. I'm pretty sure the movie implies they had sex even though it doesn't directly say so.

Jackie Brown

Moonrise Kingdom?

Heterosexual man, heterosexual woman, but they don't have sex. They could be the same age, or not, but the focus has to be on them.

Every time I think I've got one, I realize, "Oh yeah, they had sex"

The Remains of the Day. Mr. Stevens and Miss Kenton are madly in love with each other, but they never have sex. In fact, they don’t even kiss.
Another example would be Shadowlands. C.S. Lewis and Joy Gresham fall in love and get married, but I don’t believe they have sex.

I wouldn't say it was "madly..."

IMO, they were. But they suppressed their love, especially Mr. Stevens.

I haven't seen "The Remains of the Day" in 25 years. I only remember one scene,
WARNING: "Spoiler" spoilers below
When his father dies, he shows no emotion and is asked if he wants to close his eyes, and just asks if she could do it instead, since he's busy

I wonder if I'd like that movie today.

The truth is in here
How about The King and I?
That movie is an interesting example, since even the romantic attraction is somewhat vague. Do they both love each other or is there simply a deep-seated mutual respect? Is only King Siam in love or perhaps Anna?

The Sound of Music
Late Spring
Naked Island
Rear Window
In the Mood for Love
Bonnie and Clyde (although only because Clyde can't rise to the occasion)
Alphaville

I don’t think it’s vague at all. Watch them during the Shall We Dance scene…you can cut the sexual tension with a knife
