Ghouls, vampires, werewolves... let's party.
Couple of great monster movies, @Mesmerized!

Saw them both when they came out. "Creature" was in 3D but we only saw it in the flat version. The first one was real scary, but the two sequels strayed a bit. Also in 1954 were Them! and Godzilla.

When watching The Blob, I remember believing that nothing could stop it. What a relief when Steve McQueen discovered how...
I recently subscribed to Hulu plus live tv which has TCM. A lot of good old movies on this channel. I'm loving it!

I just looked this up to see what it’s about. It’s a very dark subject matter, but played as a comedy? Seems very disturbing to me, but will wait to see how you liked it.

Brideshead Revisited is my mother’s favourite book. I don’t connect with it that much, personally, but still looking forward to this, which seems as faithful an adaptation as I like to see. Barry Keoghan alone is worth looking at.
Brideshead is lovely. I loved the series. Just to listen to Jeremy Irons’s voice would be enough.

Definitely watching Saltburn. Huge fan of Barry.

For what it’s worth, I really enjoyed Broker at the time and I wouldn’t call it either ‘dark’ or a comedy, it’s something in between.

I, too, love Irons. Will report back on Saltburn.

Yeah, TCM is great. My favorite cable channel. If you like noir, Eddie Muller (the "Czar of Noir") hosts a show called "Noir Alley" on Saturday nights, which re-broadcasts on Sunday mornings. His intros and outros alone are worth watching. Always great behind the scenes commentary.

I saw this in theaters, probably my favorite of the Daniel Craig 007 films. This will finish my "seen it recently" Craig-Bond list. Next year I will move on to the Pierce Brosnan series, something I havent seen since his final Bond flick. Then next time I watch these I will watch them all together to refine my ratings.

I mistakenly said this was my favorite, I confused this with Spectre and No Time to Die, that are decidedly my favorites.

I finally found another Camillo Teti movie for my worst movies list: Cobra Mission 2. And boy is it boring. After this I'll get through Time to Kill and then The Big Sleep.
