Yeah, it's weird - Sam Rockwell and Larenz Tate have been around for years, but they still haven't received the attention they deserve.

Ok:

1. Nibbit, your Shag icon is awesome...I love Shag, he is the coolest artist out there, and when I mean cool I don't mean early-90's-"The Skateboard Kid 2"-cool I mean have-a-martinni-with-the-Rat Pack cool

2. I think Scarlett Johanson is stunningly beautiful and a great actress, she should be coming up soon, although Im a little disappointed in her decision to be in "The Perfect Score"

3. Also, Keisha Castle Hughes was just wonderful in "Whale Rider" and it was her first movie too! I just couldnt believe that, I hope to see her in more movies although she'll probably just take a hiatus from acting to finish school (not that there's anything wrong with that)

4. Giovanni Ribisi (also in "Lost in Translation") has been up and coming for a while, but never really recognized and I think he should be placed in a leading role to show off those chops of his.

PS...long live Shag

I really like these two ladies as well Ezikiel.

In the best of the new blood......
I'd also like to add Audrey Tautou. She's wonderful. I always enjoy watching her.

In the up and coming actor category....

I'd love to see more of Tom Welling. He played the oldest son 'Charlie' in Cheaper by the Dozen. This cutie has a quiet, natural charm about him. I hope he does well in the future.

what do you mean by new? do you mean people who just started to have a career in the business or people who have been around but never recognised until recently?
i mean, viggo mortensen's been around for eons, but no one seems to know him prior to his LOTRs fame.
But i think Billy Boyd is great

I enjoyed Scarlet Johannse's (sp?) recent movies.

John C. Reilly is one of my favorite actors of the 90s/00s and he still hasnt really struck it big even though hes been in almost every good movie of the past 20 years

Im always interested in seeing what Ryan Phillipe does.

And I cant wait to see Paul Walker in another Fast and The Furious sequel, yuck.

In Soviet America, you sue MPAA!
Eli Roth is going to stake his claim to reinvigorating old school horror in the relatively impotent state of horror in Hollywood these days and I can't wait for things to get back on track.

I have a good feeling about this guy named Sean Connery, I think he might make it.

Natalie Portman, she has done some big stuff but I don't think she gets the credit she deserves and that she will be 10x bigger in the future. Also Tom Welling, does a heck of a job as Clark Kent on Smallville.
