Well, it is Redwell's opinion so far be it from me to defend it.
yeah I respect his opinion but I want to heard more explainations why it called it a ''mess''.

Welcome to the human race...
So do I, but I still want to hold off until I actually see the film - it doesn't come out here for another month.

yeah I know your feeling man cannot wait

JJ you have saved Star Wars! Not only did this feel like a Star Wars movie with actual sets, actual props, animatronics, puppets, and a lot less CGI then the prequels, but even the CGI looks better. The X-Wing and TIE fighter dog fights were amazing, and the Falcon looked spectacular! Not the film is not perfect. The pace was a mile a minute, but I could still follow what has happening pretty easily. A few times I questioned some character reactions and motivations, but those beefs were pretty minor. And a while some of the explanations for what Han and Leia were doing for the past 25 + years felt a bit thin, I understand it had a lot to do with story telling limitations due to the obvious age of the actors. Luke's explanation was pretty strong though. And after suffering through Phantom Menace and The Clone Wars and Hayden Christenson I can deal with a few minor beefs. Especially since this was a hell of a ride! Not to mention I am very invested in the new characters of Finn and Rey. And JJ and company made a great choice not to reveal Rey's whole backstory in the first movie. They gave me just enough to get a good picture, but craving more. Plus it was great to see some of my childhood icons in action again. I loved this movie! But that being said, Mad Max: Fury Road is still my favorite movie of the year. But this is the easy #2 film of the year for me.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS
(2015)

I've seen all the Star Wars films, but I can't say I'm the franchise's biggest fan. However, I loved this new edition in the good-versus-evil space saga. Incredible cinematography, special effects, and performances by all involved. I can't wait to see what JJ Abrams has to offer in the next chapter...

Really? It looks beautiful
It's pretty easily Tarantino's most sloppily constructed film to date with baffling decisions at every turn. It's essentially a stage play that lets its actors run wild a la David O, Russell with little concern for the story as a whole. I have no clue why you would shoot a bottled picture in 70mm. The few times the filmstock is used to its potential don't really fit the film either.

Tarantino is completely unhinged here, writing a really mean, vindictive tale in response to the people who were offended by Django Unchained which I wasn't a fan of either. The ending especially reminded me more of something Lars von Trier would do. This might be the first time that his ego is flatly working against him.

I appear to be in the minority, though I've already ran into people who agree.

I have to return some videotapes.

Winding Refn for sure has a fetish for violence, and this hopefully stimulated him enough. The cinematography, visuals, and underlying meaning was all very well done, but I wish he would have tamed it a bit at some parts.

WARNING: spoilers below
Ryan Gosling opening his mom's uterus and sticking his hand into there? Cmon. I hope it is like him "releasing his sins onto her" but that's just f*cked up!"

The chinese dude (forgot his name) who is supposed to be God I hope stabbing a mercenary's arms then when he wouldnt speak he stabbed his ears and eyes.

It could have been more tame but I can say that I enjoyed it enough.

Women will be your undoing, Pépé
I've been VERY VERY curious about this one. Could you elaborate a little on the strong rating?

American Ultra
I SHOULD like this. It SHOULD have the makings as a possible cult classic. It shoulda, woulda, coulda. . . but for me, didn't.
