I know I just said that I'm going to try to avoid anything else until the movie and then this happens. Of course I watched it. But if this is going to be seen on TV, I might as well just watch it now and get it over with. After all, I watch a lot of TV and it would be hard to avoid it then. Of course, I could always change the channel, but we know I won't do that once this had already started.

ABC has announced that it will air a new “special look” at The Force Awakens this Thursday night. The new Star Wars footage will be hosted by the casts of the network’s “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How to Get Away with Murder.”

That blue lightsaber Finn wields in the trailer and on the poster? It’s the same one Luke lost at the battle of Cloud City; the same one that belonged to Anakin and was passed down via Obi-Wan. EW teases “In this film … it’s an important piece of the puzzle that will reveal Luke’s fate and whereabouts.”

What if Luke is dead when the story starts? What if Hamill is playing a Force ghost version of Luke?
