List of favorite 80s and 90s movies

here's my list of best 80s and 90s movies, from all genres:
80s:body heat, poltergeist, the changeling, black widow, the dead zone,lethal weapon 1-2,tango and cash,48hrs,beverley hills cop1-2,the fog,the bounty.
90s:the specialist, demolition man, speed, heat, fair game, the hand that rocks the cradle,
shawshank redemption, drop zone, disclosure.and many more.
any of you guys like these movies?



Shawshank and The Dead Zone would be my favourites from that list. However you say all genres, but there's not that many genres there is there?!
Why do you like those particular films?



1980s: Airplane!; Blood Simple; Body Double; After Hours; Planes, Trains and Automobiles; The Shining; Blow Out; Blue Velvet; Talk Radio; Clue
1990s: Misery; Goodfellas; Falling Down; The Edge; Miller's Crossing; Fargo

Well they really had me fixed to the screen. Grt direction and entertainment



Well that's a short list. Poltergeist, Demolition Man and Heat are my favorites on the list.
Well yes those were on top of my head the othrr films mentioned on this thread are definite classics also

Nice to see some love for Black Widow and Disclosure,,,two films that aren't discussed a lot on these boards.



80's: The Long Good Friday, The Shining, Platoon, House of Games, A Fish Called Wanda, Raging Bull, The Abyss, The Color of Money, Full Metal Jacket, Barfly...
90's: Goodfellas, Casino, The People vs Larry Flynt, Burton Fink, The Usual Suspects, Schindler's List, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, The Big Lebowski, Green Mile, La Haine, Leon the Professional, Trainspotting, Satantago, The Truman Show, Lock Stock andTwo Smoking Barrels, Bullet ... and so many more i cant think of now.
I think the 90's were a better era then the 80's for films.

Nice to see some love for Talk Radio...Eric Bogosian is freaking brilliant in that movie.
