RIP Val Killmer

This one is a real bummer. So many iconic roles and the Batman I grew up on.

I think I'm gonna watch his documentary today.

There has probably never been a better bit of casting than Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison in the history of cinema. The movie was sorta stupid but he's fantastic in it.

And Top Secret. You can't forget Top Secret.

I'd give her a HA! and a HI-YA! Then I'd kick her.
His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, told The New York Times he died of pneumonia on Tuesday, April 1.

R.I.P. I knew it was coming, but still sad. Besides his legendary work in Tombstone, I love him in Willow, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and Heat.

Another loss of a Hollywood heavyweight. So many of his films are brilliant.

Trouble with a capitial 'T'
That's so sad, Val always seemed like a really cool, laid back type of guy. He was iconic in Tombstone and a blast in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, fun in Real Genius. I haven't seen Willow, one of these days I'll catch that.

Val's portrayal, or shall I say embodiment, of Jim Morrison in The Doors is definitely his greatest performance. He should have been nominated for an Oscar for that performance. The Academy ought to hang their heads in shame over that snub.

He was also amazing in Heat where he went toe to toe with acting greats Robert Deniro and Al Pacino. I cannot forget Top Secret, the movie that introduced me to him, and Top Gun where he stole the scenes from Tom Cruise.

The documentary Val was both sweet and heartbreaking as it highlighted Val's health problems.

It's a sad day in the world of movies today.

RIP Val Kilmer

My favorite Kilmer films were The Doors and Tombstone. Top Gun was fun for looking at hot guys. He was so good. I'm sorry he was plagued with bad health.

This one was not a shock, but still very sad. The first time I ever laid eyes on him was in a movie called Real Genius. also loved him as Ice, Doc Holiday, and Jim Morrison. Amazing actor, tragic loss. RIP

And Moses lived 120 years... Maybe Kilmer didn't reach that age, but he'll be remembered forever.
