Its up to Indy and Mutt to save their mutual friend and Mutts mother and stop the Russians from gaining a power greater than anything known in this world.

Indy's latest outing is about as good as could've been expected.

While it does have the essentials to make an Indiana Jones film, there are too many things that they seem to have skipped in order to make an actual great film. Thus we have to settle for something that is simply good, which is fine, but not when you are Indiana Jones.

It's not an inherently 'bad' film but it is flawed in a lot of respects and considering what it could, and should have been- a classic stunt orientating adventure, it fails to deliver.

Its been a long wait, and it still delivers, but not quite as much as I had hoped for, perhaps like Indy himself, it's time to hang up the hat on this particular franchise.

Harrison Ford is too perfect for this role , as he has aged so has his character - though it really hasn't stopped Jones from doing his usual amazing tricks.

I liked the first half or so, I thought they managed to capture much of the tone of the first films there, but the second half is so much CGI and such preposterous silly Sci-Fi nonsense that, although still enjoyable, is definitely a let-down for this Indiana Jones fan.

Both released and set 19 years after Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull pushes the series to new absurd heights.

Even though it was prone to several of the same flaws as any of the others, it was still great. The references to all the earlier films were a nice touch, none of them being as cringeworthy as you'd expect.

...you know the bit in Temple of Doom when they jump out of the plane and use the rubber dingy to sail to the ground? Well that bit’s stupid right? And you know it could never happen, but still find it really enjoyable? That’s pretty much the entirety of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
