Tom Hardy as Max is almost mute, in fact the whole film is, but you don't miss speech when your whole vista is filled with such visual treats as a guy suspended on the front of a wagon playing heavy metal guitar as they go into battle.

Film Trivia Snippets - There is a fan theory doing the rounds that the Max in this film is not the same Max as played by Mel Gibson.

The only significant difference is the fact that, due to the fact that thirty years have passed since the last film, Max is now played by Tom Hardy instead of Mel Gibson (a small part of me does wonder how a film about a fifty-something Max would've played out, but it would most likely not be like t....
