And that little thing that happens to trigger it all and make the bomb tick, occurs when Celine talks to Jesses son on the phone, but for the second time in the film doesnt let Jesse talk to him, though he clearly wants to.
I also love how they delved into Hawke's relationship with his son so much while at the same time keeping it about this couple.
