Don't get me wrong, I think Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels brilliantly succeeds as a louder, faster, badder-ass version of Ocean's 11 (1960) type crime caper film.

Even being his debut film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is already a vintage Ritchie; wild and obscure characters, funny and foul dialogue and lots of visual gimmickry.
