Hi all,
There is an 80's movie out there, in which the dorm room students battle it out with a door lock competition - the hardest one to crack wins.
I remember a tiny amount, but the main character mocks up a miniature of his room and lock, and places it behind the peephole in his dorm room door.
The miniature does the complete opposite to the real lock, also in his room - fooling the crackers into thinking the door is locked, when it is not, and visa versa.
The only reason the lock gets figured out is the 'bad guys' overhear a conversation with a listening dish/device.
I Googled it, and only come up with a MacGuyver episode - But I'm 99.99% sure this plot was also a movie. Please help?? Thanks all.
