Woman crashes trough shop window - 1980s crime film?

Tools

The way I remember it: she was in the street (on foot) - maybe chased by the bad guys driving a car. An (intentional?) collision of sorts made her crash through the shop window.

I *think* it's a British film and I wondered if the actress was Susan George but I can't find anything in her filmography that reminds me of this scene, but that doesn't mean it isn't there.
I also remember that this woman wore a long, fashionable raincoat, but in case I misremember it I'm giving the wrong information.

Not thinking of Blade Runner are you?
I'm always thinking of Blade Runner. I've made it my life mission to discredit that movie and have registered on this site for no other reason than to troll Blade Runner fans.

Well, that's the impression some people got, anyway

But, no, that's not the film I'm looking for. It's a straightforward crime/thriller story without any supernatural or sci-fi stuff in it.

Anything else you can recall? If a woman was being chased by bad guys she would probably be playing a main role.
As someone already said, and it's the first thing I thought of was Blade Runner - sorry to others but I thought Blade Runner (1982) was a terrible sci-fi, too slow.
I was thinking of the Matrix but you mentioned it was not sci-fi? Possibly a different actress than the one you mentioned. How old is the movie?

My pants ran off with an antelope.
Not a great fit, but
He says the dumbest shit. She makes the worst decisions. That trolley has the greatest stopping distance ever. And that car is the most polite lethal weapon ever.

She could have been a witness, someone who knew too much.
How old is the movie?
I watched it on TV in the 1980s (1981-1984) but it's possible that the film is a little bit older.

That's gonna be a tough one.

Crime/Thriller seen on TV early 80's, maybe British. Woman, long fashionable raincoat driven through the window of a shop with a car.

Any kind of plot lines or other scenes that might help? Mobster type movie, or more of a horror type? With guns or knives? Was there a single murder or multiple?
Maybe it was a made for TV movie, or was it a big screen movie?

The quote from the other message boards:
There's a scene in For Your Eyes Only where Carole Bouquet is wearing a stylish long coat, and a man on a motorcycle tries to kill her. She doesn't go through the window though; he does.
