Definitely a candidate for thread title of the year.

Let's keep the jokes brief. If a joke is too long, it might get painful. But it can't be too short either. The end goal is to give it some real oomph. You gotta FEEL it coming out.

I would also add that LENGTH matters... especially for movies.
My most frequent criticism is that some movies are too long.
Many good movies would be excellent movies with a little time edited out, while some bad movies could be made better if shortened.
