Best Foot Chase

Tools

I'd have to say my favorite chase scene is about 40 minutes into Death Sentence with kevin bacon. (I recommend fast forwarding past the actual movie)

Other than that, I am always entertained by parkour chase scenes.
District B13
Casino Royale

Both have great parkour chases.

I also particularly enjoyed a chase in the beginning of 28 Weeks Later
It was actually kind of scary, but I'll admit horror is my weakest genre. Maybe someone out there knows of a scarier chase scene.

Good topic

Zombie films are always good to fall back on but one of my favourite Foot Chases would be in Tremors (1990). There's a couple in the film that work well and is all done with first person views.

Good whiskey make jackrabbit slap de bear.
Point Break. Thread closed.

Marathon Man

On second thought, I'm not sure if this counts, because while the chased is on foot the chasers are mainly in a car.

They had to film a guy running on foot, so that counts in my book, although it's kind of a hybrid. I think the film protector actually has a pretty good chase, although at first glance it looks more like a fight sequence because everything is so thick.

Point break is definitely one of the better ones.
Unfortunately it's been at "very long wait" forever in my netflix queue so I haven't been able to revisit it

Thanks, already working out better than the last movie forum I tried to join!

The thing I always remember about tremors is how in the middle of that rocky desert all the sudden they grab these long rods and start pole vaulting lol. Cracks me up every time that those long poles were just laying right there conveniently for them to use.

If it really has a good chase scene then perhaps i should revisit it.

"My name is Psycho but you can call me Stuart."
Point Break without a doubt.

My other two personal favourites are District B13 and Reservoir Dogs.

Great selection.. for reservoir dogs are you referring to when mr. pink flees the robbery? it's a good chase scene but always bothers me how is briefcase ends up leaned against the other side of the car after he drops it. makes no sense and was obviously placed there haha

The end pf French Connection II.
I didn't even know this movie had a sequel.
I just watched it recently.. i might have enjoyed this more than the first film! Chase sequence was good but I didn't like the pov stuff intermixed when he was going after the boat. great recommendation i had missed, thanks.

Ah yes. forgot about this one.

surprising choice... are you talking about the 1 minute chase at the airpoint where liam gets in a car and goes after the kid?

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
Can't remember much, but I'd go with The Chaser and The Yellow Sea, both by Hong-jin Na.

Look, I'm not judging you - after all, I'm posting here myself, but maybe, just maybe, if you spent less time here and more time watching films, maybe, and I stress, maybe your taste would be of some value. Just a thought, ya know.

We've gone on holiday by mistake
No Love for "Bourne Ultimatum" rooftop chase in Tangier or even "Bourne Supremacy" chase in Berlin?

This is probably one of the craziest foot chases ever filmed....trust me on this, you will not be disappointed!
(starts as a car chase)
