Ok... a pile of Top 10s from the past, like, 45 years or so...

Interesting list. I never really think of Karate Kid when I think of sports films. Love it and Million Dollar Baby. My list would have to include Remember The Titans and Field Of Dreams.

True... I was quite upset at how bad The Thing (2011) turned out. Not one I'll be voting for an Oscar...

Titans and Dreams near made the list tbh... have to go with my instincts though

Chappie doesn't like the real world
Aarrgg you're going too fast. In the sports list, I love A League of Their Own and Bad News Bears. Can't stand Million Dollar Baby, but good list in general.

I know... there's still 4 more genres to go... will stop for now and get them up later so you lot can read my current posts.

I did say it would be:

Comedy Films

10. Kingpin
9. Caddyshack
8. Ghostbusters
7. Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy
6. The Naked Gun Trilogy
5. Airplane!
4. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

1. Dumb And Dumber

Up next: Action Films

I don't remember asking you a ******* thing!
Ghostbusters! One of my favorite comedies ever. Ace Ventura annoys the hell outta me though. Dumb and Dumber is a good pick for number 1. I almost passed out when I first saw it cuz I couldn't stop laughing.

Time for some action:

Action Films

10. Con Air
9. The Rock
8. Mission: Impossible Franchise
7. First Blood/Rambo Franchise
6. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
5. The Expendables and The Expendables 2
4. Lethal Weapon Franchise
3. Die Hard Original Trilogy
2. Aliens

1. Dredd

Up next: Sci-Fi, Space And Futuristic Films

Tbh, it's not a film I really like. It's good as it is but it's one of those films, like A Clockwork Orange for instance, that I don't see what the huge thing is.

Yes, Dredd is a fantastic film.

It is literally that, an actioner but has a bit of a brain behind it. You never seen it?
I think it's great, obviously...

Outweighs Stallone's abomination by miles.
