Hugh Grant

What do you guys think of Hugh Grant? Please understand, not all Brits are like that! He went to a good public school (or should I say "private", for the yanks ), and so did I, but I'm nothing like that!

I personally don't think him to be a very talented actor, and I can only tolerate his films for about 30 minutes or so before I have to turn it off because of his infuriating and deliberate stammer to play up the "flustered Englishman" stereotype. The only reason I'm asking is because Nine Months was on last night.

As was Naked Gun 33 1/2! Hilarious! And Anna Nichole Smith... Mmmm...

Perhaps my dislike of Mr. Grant is down to his long relationship with Liz Hurley... at least they've broken up now...

Actually, I like Hugh Grant, he's really not a bad actor! Well, sometimes he does get on my nerves a bit, but on the whole he's ok, even funny at times! I liked Notting Hill, it was a very good movie all round.

As for Anna Nicole Smith in Naked Gun 33 1/3, that image of her shadow just before Leslie Nielsen runs off feeling all sick is burned in my mind, and it's the usual association I get with her name

By the way, did you know that she won something like $860 million from her court case??

Yeah, I know. Apparently she's calmed down a lot now too .

Notting Hill's not a bad film, but a bit of a chick flick. Julia Roberts is over-rated as far as totty goes though, IMHO.

So, are there any new Hugh Grant movies coming out?

I love him in Nothing Hill and Love Actually.

Never been a fan of Hugh Grant. He plays the 'gentleman' card too much..

I can take or leave Hugh Grant...I don't hate him but I don't cancel any plans to watch a movie of his...I liked Notting Hill, but I thought Four Weddings and a Funeral was a crashing bore.
