2nd best decade for films.

I'm kind of in the middle. While I'd say 50's is probably one of my least favorite decades, there is good stuff to be found in any decade IMO.

Harryhausen really got going in the 50's though, so the decade was definitely worth something.

I'm not telling you there isn't anything good there. Just that the decade sucks.

The concept of any whole decade "sucking" is so bizarre ... so many great movies in every decade.

If I really think about it, I would say that the 50's may be my least favorite decade, but there are some excellent movies that came out of those 10 years.

Hey I was born that decade. There was something hard, difficult but hopeful in that decade. Physical and social deprivations in the UK for the working class, but a sense of optimism after the destruction of WW2.

Coming very soon: A director who's appeared before and a director who hasn't. I think Raul and Sexy have different reasons to be happy.
