I am still a big fan of cartoons, even at 30. Who are your favorite characters?

From childhood:

(Scooby Doo and the Gang)

From adulthood:

(The Venture Bros, Dr. Venture, Brock Samson)

Hey, hey, hey

I don't really remember being into cartoons much as a child. I mean, I watched things like Care Bears, Yogi Bear, Looney Toons, The Simpsons, etc but the only one I remember really being a fan of is Ren and Stimpy, or more specifically this guy:

As I got into junior high and then high school, Beavis and Butthead became hugely popular. I liked them well enough, but it was the spin-off that really hooked me and I still love it:

And my favorite current cartoon character is this guy:

Some of my favorites right now:

Marco from Porco Rosso:

Nausicaa from Nausicaa:

Eric Cartman from South Park:

Homura from Mahou Shojo Madoka Magica:

Shinji Ikari from Evangelion:

Sterling Archer from Archer:

I have to many childhood favorites to mention here, but Courage, Billy and Mandy, Ed, Ed & Eddy will always be remembered as my childhood cartoon. They messed me up good

Currently I love these two though.

This... will take a lot of thought on my part. I CARTOONS.

Are we restricted to TV series? My mind is blown, I don't know where to begin.

Shinji Ikari from Evangelion:

somehow calling nge a cartoon seems like an abuse of the word

When I was a kid -- Penny from Inspector Gadget.

Inspector Gadget himself was mostly a bore, but Penny was a fierce investigator and the true genius/inspector of the show. I always wanted her computer book. It could do things like fire a laser.

Is Archer a good one?

Look, I'm not judging you - after all, I'm posting here myself, but maybe, just maybe, if you spent less time here and more time watching films, maybe, and I stress, maybe your taste would be of some value. Just a thought, ya know.

Is Archer a good one?
Well that depends on your tastes. It's about an incredibly narcissistic (sp?) spy who works for an agency run by his mother. It's full of sarcasm, innuendo and blatant sexual situations. I personally love it.

Is Archer a good one?
It's alright. The second season is hilarious though. I prefer Frisky Dingo. Archer is also one of my least favorite characters from Archer, at least he eventually ended up being one of my least favorite after watching every season.

Women will be your undoing, Pépé
Archer IS a very funny series and its hard to choose a favorite out of them

i'm with earls when it comes to Bugs Bunny as a kid, and there is a wide variety of characters under Tex Avery's Directing that I loved watching

These guys
(especially Edward!)
