Honeykid in my head is why I put Tommy on my '70s list when I shouldn't have because I knew it didn't have a chance. Everything else -- even stuff that didn't make it -- I thought had a chance, but I knew Tommy wouldn't have a chance.

Never again. I'm not that kind of person. I'm not a masochist like Honeykid. I play to win.

But I don't want to be like Honeykid and be ASSURED that my #1 doesn't stand a chance.

Favorites are stupid things, anyway. My favorites change all the time. It just depends on what mood I'm in at the moment. What was my #1 favorite in March is my 200th favorite in April.

no it's not. the point of these lists is to get an accurate representation of this forums tastes, not to see who has the best taste. there's no reward for getting shows on the countdown. the fact that you take these lists so seriously is a little weird.

I agree with Honeykid. Your list should be the stuff you like, and if it doesn't make the list, it shouldn't matter. The list should represent your favorites, not somebody else's favorites.

Many of the movies on my 1970s list didn't make the countdown, but that doesn't mean that I'm not enjoying the countdown anyway. It's interesting to see what everyone else likes, even if they're not my favorites, and some of them are very predictable. I only have two movies from the top ten on my list but I can still appreciate that the other eight movies deserve to be at the top of the list, even if they're not my faves.

Let him vote however he wants. No big deal. The list doesn't have a mission statement. It's just fun. There's no criteria. A certain member who can't ever remember what he voted for based his almost solely on nostalgic value. I don't trust my nostalgia, so I will be voting differently. Neither one of is wrong, and neither one of us is right. Chill.

I think the majority of my list will make it. There's one "reality" show that's questionable and I'm not sure how the whole "Blackadder is 4 different shows" thing will play out, but I'm reasonably confident about the rest.

I'll probably be proved wrong, but for now I'm reasonably confident.

You people still don't understand what I'm saying. I'm not gonna vote for things I don't like. I'm gonna vote for things I like. It's just if something else is getting a lot of votes, and it's something I wasn't thinking about putting on the list -- if I like it and I know it's being voted for, I will probably put that on my list to help it. If everyone's trying to get Murphy Brown on the list, I'm not gonna vote for Murphy Brown because I don't care for it. But if Designing Women is getting votes from people, I will vote for Designing Women because I like Designing Women.

The best thing about the TV list is that we aren't quite sure how it will turn out. Of couse HK will vote for 25 different countries versions of Charlies Angels and Mr Minio will have some 25 part Bosnian Pidgeon porno for us. Other than that though it's all up in the air. I honestly can't think of a concrete number one.

I watch too much tv shows lol, I collect every series that I watch.
I don't really have fav shows in order but I can write down what every show I've watched hahaha it's a massive list. I will write them in alphabetical order.
