Been a while (again), so I've got a few (again):
Batman Begins - 10/10 - Best superhero origin movie I've ever seen! Everything about it was fantastic, and it honestly didn't look like it could be improved on, until...
The Dark Knight - 10/10 - ...this movie came along and made a number of people forget about Batman Begins (sadly, because BB is an awesome movie). I will give it credit - everything about this movie was super fantastic, and I'd call it the best movie of 2008!
The Dark Knight Rises - 8/10 - Not as good as the first two, but a good solid ending to an awesome trilogy regardless! It had some minor plot holes that hardly detracted from the film, so definitely worth watching!
All in all, the Dark Knight trilogy is my fourth favorite film series, behind Harry Potter (3rd), Star Wars (2nd), and The Hobbit/LOTR (1st).
Good Night, and Good Luck. - 10/10 - A movie I believe is severely underrated by the typical moviegoer. Fantastic acting, story, and dialogue, and a true story to boot! I'd say it's currently my 2nd favorite film of 2005, behind Memoirs of a Geisha.
History of the World, Part I - 9/10 - Mel Brooks...awesome as always! The only thing I thought was lacking in the movie was the story-telling, but when you cover 5 different time periods in a 90 minute movie, that's to be expected! Now where is History of the World, Part II?!?
Child's Play - 6/10 - Fairly decent horror/comedy film. A friend of mine introduced me to the Chucky series a while back and I just bought the collection, so I'm rewatching them, and this first film is more or less how I remembered it - pretty good dialogue and story coupled with acting that is just okay.
Child's Play 2 - 6/10 - Like the first movie, I'd call this one fairly decent - and for the same reasons (good dialogue, good story, just okay acting).
