I'm going to start up a Hannah and Her Sisters movie commentary in just a few minutes. Anyone wanna join me and discuss our #100 movie?

Had I access to it I would have. Sorry dude

Exterminate all rational thought.
Cool, thanks.

My weighted list was quite interesting:

1980 - 42
1981- 6
1982 - 36
1983 - 24
1984 - 84
1985 - 49
1986 -29
1987 - 42
1988 - 0
1989 - 13

a bit surprised that dead ringers didn't get more votes. i quite liked it, but i didn't find it as interesting as i thought i would, considering the fascinating premise and phenomenal acting. jeremy irons gave one of the best performances i've ever seen. would've liked to see it on the list, but i'm not too disappointed.

i'm a bit surprised hannah and her sisters isn't higher, but that's pretty accurate. i would've guessed that it would make the top 50. i've never seen a woody allen film outside of the 80s (i watched all of his 80s films in preparation for this list, skipping september), and hannah and her sisters is my least favorite of his popular ones. i'm not really crazy about his other stuff, but this one was just kinda bland. it had its moments though.

i've seen the end of stop making sense, and i thought it was great, but i didn't see enough to accurately rank it. it's definitely worth watching, even if you don't really like the talking heads, which i'm not sure why you wouldn't. possibly the best concert movie ever made. could probably be higher, but i didn't really expect it to make it.

Well, we're off to a bad start. I just watched Hannah and Her Sisters and I didn't see what was so great about it.

I gave it the Mark F rating:

Looking at Stop Making Sense right now.

It features a song I remember from Lars and the Real Girl. That's funny.

Might it have something to do with the fact that you were trying to do your usual commentary shtick instead of actually watching the movie?

Thursday Next's Avatar
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
Haven't seen either of those. I did vote for a Woody Allen film but it wasn't that one.

I was the one who gave one point to Caravaggio. I am not at all surprised it's the only point it got.

I am actually watching my #1 80s film right now

Regrettably i was too busy to watch all the 80s movies i wanted to but i'm still happy enough with my list. I haven't seen either but i will get around to Hannah and Her Sisters, because i love Woody Allen. Also thanks Skepsis for taking the time to do the list .

I just realized this is two movies every other day, I actually prefer it that way.

Yeah I feel like two movies a day would be a better pace, at least until we get to the top 20 or so.
I agree. That would be like 40 days + 20 days, which would accumulate to a total of 2 months. That seems like a correct time period to me.

Let's try to be broad-minded about this
TWO A DAY PLEASE!

Ain't nobody got time for this two every other day!

Really though I would love to be able to check back here everyday and see two new entries
